"I hired GJK to install vinyl peel and stick wallpaper in my kitchen, including the ceiling. They first sent their spackling/painting team to prep the walls - they were wonderful and cleaned up so well. Then GJK came on the weekend to do the installation. It was a pleasure to see a husband and wife team work so well together and they did a magnificent job and cleaned up completely when done. I found a few bubbles and called Greg to let him know. Both Greg and his wife, Janet, were here Monday morning to fix them all and explained that the glue had not dried yet but he made them all go away and I could not be happier with them and their work. "Howard and his crew did a great job removing decades-old wallpaper from our foyer, stairway, upstairs hallway and master bedroom. They then repaired the drywall, skim-coated everything, and primed and painted the walls. They also primed and painted (with three coats) all the upstairs bedroom doors and closet doors and trim, which had been previously stained and varnished with a very dark finish. And they did it all in two days. They were fast, professional, and neat."

"We were not pleased with the work of this company.  While the price is right, there were so many things that went wrong on the job that I'm not sure if I can remember all of them.
First of all, when I hire a painter, my assumption is that they will work on my job only until the project is complete.  This was not the case.  The painters left the job for days on end, being called to other locations.  The work was sloppy in numerous places - we had to keep calling them back to correct things.  I also had bedroom furniture damaged when the workers moved my end tables to another room - they didn't take the care necessary to protect them.  Walls under light covers/cable covers were not painted - they were left the original color of the rooms.  My bedroom wall has cracked in one place already - as they didn't do the repair needed in that area evidently to prevent that from happening.  Paint has chipped in other areas - something which should not happen so soon after completion.
At exterior painting they also didn't take care to protect elements of the home properly.  I had paint spatter covering newly installed railings at my front walkway, stains applied incorrectly on wood lattice which they installed (numerous empty areas - should have used a spray gun for that or painted it before installation), totally ruined my exterior balcony door with using too thick a layer of paint on it.  There were paint brush hairs all over the door as well, paint on screens (why they weren't removed or covered is beyond me), spattered paint on a custom mailbox, and the same on our house number plaque.  
There is more, but I'll just leave it at it was an extremely sloppy job which took literally WEEKS to complete and I was told it would take less than 1 week.  
While there were some circumstances that made the job take longer (some weather related and some of his workers having personal problems), the amount of errors exceeded what would be considered excusable.
The only good thing I can say is that from far away, the house looks ok and, the owner Phil (others mention a different name, not sure why) tried to be as pleasant as possible throughout this.

"i called multiple companies and decided to go with precision paint and power washing. I got my garage door painted and needed my bathroom vanity refinished a different color, it was a oak color and instead of spending a lot of money to replace the whole thing she suggested refinishing it with chalk paint , the end result is beautiful, I am so glad i didn't change it, now it looks modern with a nice white, she even left me a can of wax so i can re wax it as needed and it wont get damage easily. I organized a price and a time with Tim and Charlene, and they handled everything perfectly. They came a tad early, finished everything we needed to, stuck to the agreed price, and gave some extra maintenance and style advice!
