Customers say: Quality work

"Very knowledgeable!! He was able to tell me why my tree was dying, knew names of all the plants, pointed out things I didn't notice and even removed poison ivy I didn't know I had. He was great! He was the only one who got back to me with an estimate so it was hard to compare if it was the price was right but I am very pleased with how hard they worked and the end result. It looks great!"

Customers say: Quick response

"Mike of M&L Landscaping was extremely courteous and immediately impressed me with his knowledge. As we discussed the work I wanted done, he made detailed notes and sketches and made insightful recommendations that wound up being better looking and more functional, plus they allowed him to keep his price down. Mike did an excellent job replacing a walkway with one using new pavers. This was very difficlut because of the poor original work and the many odd cuts required. He also built beds all around my house and rototilled and leveled the rear yard for spring seeding. Mike also cut and removed low-lying branches and considerable debris."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

Lead removal can take a few days to several weeks, depending on the work needed, particularly if the lead is widespread and in hard-to-reach areas.

Professional lead-paint abatement companies use a variety of methods to remove lead-based paint, depending on each particular situation. Some of the most common methods include:

  • Total removal: $8–$17 per square foot

  • Demolition and replacement: $1,000–$15,000 per project

  • Encapsulation: $4 per square foot

  • Enclosure: $10 per square foot

  • Chemical stripping: $10–$17 per square foot

Professionals are trained in identifying hazardous materials and utilize industry-approved methods for safe handling and disposal. They adhere to regulatory frameworks to protect health and the environment, ensuring all materials are disposed of safely and responsibly.

Embarking on a kitchen demolition comes with its share of risks to keep in mind. Think of potential encounters with asbestos, sharp objects, and power tools—not to mention the peril of structures wobbling or unexpected plumbing surprises. And, of course, you will be surrounded by dust and debris throughout the process. All of the above makes safety gear necessary, or you can consider hiring a qualified professional.

You can sell a house with lead paint, but there are several requirements. If you are aware that lead paint exists anywhere in the home, you must disclose that to potential buyers. Required home inspections will often uncover lead paint, especially for older houses where lead paint may still be a problem. If you have taken steps to encapsulate lead, you should provide buyers with full documentation of the project so it won’t cause any problems later on.
