Initially, our front yard and driveway were plagued with weeds, worn-out mulch, and overgrown bushes desperately in need of trimming. The backyard presented an even larger challenge, with an overgrown garden neglected for over four years and two large fig trees requiring attention. The team at Parkyn Landscaping tackled these issues with expertise and professionalism. They started by removing the smaller, unhealthy fig tree and clearing out all debris. They then filled in the lawn with fresh soil, adjusted the grading for better drainage, and meticulously planted new grass seeds, ensuring to cover them with straw and providing us with detailed watering instructions for optimal growth. Along the side of our house, they planted small boxwood shrubs that promise to enhance our yard's aesthetic once they mature. On the scheduled day, Parkyn Landscaping's crew arrived promptly at 7:30 am, ready to work. Despite the scorching 90-degree heat, they worked tirelessly throughout the day, demonstrating efficiency and a no-nonsense approach. By 4:30 pm, they had completely transformed our yard beyond recognition – so much so that we couldn't resist taking pictures to share with our relatives. "Trevor came out to our house based on our neighbor's recommendation and gave us an estimate for a total redesign our our landscaping. This included excavating, removing an old cement walkway, all new plants and a paver walkway. We split the yard in two parts and he just finished part 1 (the back yard), which was top dressing & leveling, ripping out the old plants and redesigning the beds. I think they did a great job, were flexible when working around my other contractors, and fair priced. After our job was complete, Trevor came out to pick up his check and look at the work; some of the soil had settled due to a hard rain, so he had the guys come out two days later to re-soil and seed. We still have the big half of the job to do but we're pretty confident based on what we have seen so far."

"Creative Pavers did a great job for me. I had a wooden deck that essentially just a wooden platform on the ground. It was starting to rot in places and the inspector warned me when I bought the house that it was showing signs of termite damage, so it had to go. The provided me with a great design and we worked out a way to do it in stages so that I could stay within budget. I was traveling for much of the project, but everything went well even in my absence. From start to finish, they were polite, professional, punctual - and I love the end result. I have other plans for landscaping and hardscaping for the future (including a firepit) and I will definitely use them again."

"He was good about calling initially and writing up a proposal.  However, he forgot about it or something of that nature because of instead of taking 1-2 weeks as he promised it took over a month.  And, I had to keep calling him to remind him because he kept forgetting.  He was very nice but somehow I think my job was getting lost in the shuffle.  When the guy came to do the work, I didn't know he was coming and he just showed up.  Luckily I was home.  He ground the stumps.There was a problem with one of them and the owner was going to check on it and get back to me.  The owner never got back to me on the decision and the worker just told me it couldn't be done.  That upset me since I had questions about it but the owner was not there.  Also, all the chips were left.  I told him I wanted them removed, but I the worker said it would cost extra.  I had assumed they would be taking them.  I wish he had asked me about this so I could have prepared.
All in all, the job was done appropriately and the worker did clean up.  However, I was dissatisfied with the management of the job.
