He was cheerful, friendly, and eager to be friendly and accommodating. He came the next day to evaluate the problem and to provide a written and reasonable estimate. Upon tackling the job, Robert found it to be more ticklish than originally thought. He was absolutely correct. It involved a shopping trip for additional supplies so that the finished job wasn't jury rigged. Despite the extra time and trouble, the final price did not change from Mr. Magliulo's estimate. The finished job proved to be a safe and professional solution to a serious problem we hadn't even been aware of. Mr. Magliulo made certain that we knew we could call on him if there was any problem. "Everyone was just great!  These guys are on the ball!  They have a nice granite selection and we were able to find a very large remnant piece of granite that was lovely.  They came out 3 days later to make the template,  4 days later we were able to go back to check the placement of the template on the granite, and 5 days after that - it was installed.  They shaped a lovely edge and we are happy with the sinks they stocked.  
Both times they came to the house, they called ahead and arrived on time.  They worked carefully, everything fits just right.  We are very pleased.  And it cost almost 1/2 of what Home Depot wanted and with less hassles.  We would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to neighbors.

"We have used Alan Drake MANY times at this point -he is our go-to contractor for all our projects big & small. Our first experience of him was when he finished our basement after we had it lowered a foot (by another company). Did a great job from the first minute - was reasonable on price, had the expert on his team, Karl, draw our plans for rebuilding our basement steps & finishing basement for permit purposes,  framed & built walls, finished with trim/cabinet doors, and then had his team paint the whole thing. We then had to use him after our basement unfortunately flooded from Irene when he had to redo a good amount of the work he had done the year before. We've used his team to paint our entire house top to bottom & they did an efficient and beautiful job. Have used them to clean our gutters periodically and power wash the back of our house and patio - always at a reasonable price. And this latest time when our sewer pipe backed up and caused a flood only days before we were having an open house, he came through and squeezed us into his schedule at the last minute, seeing what an emergency it was. Alan is a friendly, extremely personable guy, and beyond fair in price and setting expectations. We highly highly recommend him. He is our hero! Tip: Alan communicates best by text because he is so very busy.

He explained everything to me so it was easy to understand & showed me what systems I needed. Turns out my well water has very low pH and he installed a system for the entire house to fix it. Now all my water is more alkaline. He also put a water purification system at my sink so I have water that I use for drinking, cooking, washing my veggies. I feel safer drinking my water now. I don’t have to buy bottled water anymore which I like. I’m so happy because all of it was very affordable with my fixed income. Now I don’t have to worry about trying to clean stains and be embarrassed when I have people come over to use my bathroom. I would highly recommend them - from beginning to end the process was easy."
