"I am dissatisfied with the work that Superior Seal Coat performed on my driveway. The edge of the driveway near the garage door was left in a very rough and unfinished state; it was not professional workmanship a period. When I called and informed them that I was not satisfied with their work, their inspector sent me an email stating: “ …our job is focused, primarily on the integrity and preservation of the driveway not the aesthetic factor. The important function of the job was accomplished” This objective was never communicated to me prior to them doing the work if so, I probably would’ve went with a different company. Not only that, they could have easily communicated to me that the crack between the asphalt and the concrete where my garage door is located could not be fixed. This was never communicated to me. I would not recommend anyone use this company"

It’s best to stay off of recycled asphalt for at least 48 hours, then you can walk or drive standard vehicles on it. Hold off on driving heavy trucks or equipment on it for at least 7 days. A solid driveway starts with the right asphalt mix, and for most homes, dense-graded hot mix asphalt (HMA) is the most recommended. It’s both durable and flexible, making it a reliable choice for residential use. A properly compacted 2-3 inch layer on a well-prepared crushed stone base will hold up for years. In areas with harsh winters or scorching summers, a slightly modified mix can help prevent cracking and rutting. No matter the climate, quality installation is just as important as the material itself, so hiring an experienced contractor ensures a smooth, long-lasting driveway built to last.

Asphalt, which is stone mixed with tar, is the most common material for outdoor basketball courts because it’s so sturdy and versatile. However, you don't have to use it: another option is polymeric rubber, which has shock pads that can prevent injury. This option is a little more expensive, ranging between $16 and $25 per square foot.

Materials used for indoor basketball courts, such as hardwoods, aren’t really an option outdoors.

Gravel is the least expensive driveway type, costing between $1 and $3 per square foot. That said, you’ll likely need to add new gravel filling once or twice a year which can add up in additional costs over time.
