"Jimmy was very responsive throughout the whole process. David and his crew of two were absolutely fantastic. They arrived exactly when they were supposed to, worked very diligently, carefully and efficiently. They put all boxes/items in the rooms they were going to in the new home, and took apart/re-assembled our bedroom furniture. We were very happy with their pace and quality of work, and would absolutely hire them again."

"Bryan was awesome! He put three pieces of furniture together for me. All had electrical components to it. He also dismantled and unloaded all of the furniture that was here already. This was all after a fresh 4 inch snowfall. He was dedicated and friendly and made sure everything worked and was to my liking. Additionally, communication with A1 was exceptional and they were very reasonably priced. I would 100% use them again. My son is so happy for his new bedroom setup and my back is so happy for my new standing desk. Thank you Bryan and A1 Construction!!!"

"I had an urgent request to install shelves b/c the other person I hired never showed up. Belayeth reached out to me right away and came out the same evening. They did a wonderful job installing multiple shelves in my guest room, were clean and efficient, very friendly and experienced. I was so excited to see that they provide so many services. Highly recommend and will definitely use them going forward. They were wonderful."

"Artur and his team did our bathroom remodels. I knew exactly what we wanted and he helped me accomplish the vision. They made sure everything was perfect before they finished. When we ran into unexpected issues (things that are common in contruction, nothing big), they always had great ideas on how to work through them to achieve my goals and discussed them with me thoroughly. I will definitely use them again."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Any number between 7.2 and 7.8 is an ideal pH for swimming pools or 80 to 120 ppm. Your pool testing kit should be able to measure both of these numbers. If your pool’s pH is below this range, the water is too acidic and can cause scaling and damage to pool equipment. If the water’s pH is above this range, it can decrease the effectiveness of necessary chemicals, like chlorine.

You don’t need to drain the whole pool to patch a pool liner, but be prepared to dive in with your swimsuit and goggles to patch a leak below the water level. By draining the pool, you can actually expose the liner to more harsh conditions, like wind and sunlight, that cause the tears to worsen. It’s best to use the ink test and waterproof patches or tape to identify the leak and patch it up.

The time it takes for a pool heater to heat a pool can range from eight to 48 hours, with an average of about 12 hours for the initial heating. For a more specific example, an average-sized 15,000-gallon pool may take six to 10 hours to heat up by 10 degrees. The exact duration depends on several factors, including the pool's size, the type and size of the heater, the starting water temperature, and the outside air temperature. It may take some trial and error to determine the precise time your specific pool takes to reach a desired temperature.

In-ground pools are more durable and have a longer lifespan, but aboveground pools are an excellent option for homeowners on a budget. Aboveground pools are also easier to remove if you no longer want to maintain one.

The cost of an aboveground pool is $800 to $5,000 for materials and $1,000 to $3,000 for labor. Before deciding, weigh the pros and cons of each pool.

The best way to dissolve algae is to use pool shock. The shock increases the free chlorine levels in your pool, which in turn kills bacteria, microorganisms, and algae. You can opt for granulated shock that you mix with water or a premixed liquid shock.

Keep in mind that using pool shock is just one of the steps you need to take to get rid of algae from your pool. Unless you also brush, vacuum, and clean the filter, your algae problem may return.
