"I used Martinez Tree Service many years ago when a massive 80 ft high Oak in my front yard began to die and was leaning toward my neighbor's home. Their work was extremely efficient, thorough, and amazing to watch as they climbed from one section to another like they lived in giant trees all their lives. Jose is the main climber and he was all over that tree, tying off large limbs, power sawing at seemingly impossible heights. When another large Oak in my backyard began to die a few years ago, becoming hollow inside and losing bark, I tried to find them online but did not save their name or contact information. I tried other companies, but the difficulty of the job scared all of them away (the tree was dead, hollow inside, up against a neighbor's stockade fence, very close to a decorative brick well and a 2 room workshop at the back of my property, and inaccessible by crane). Another landscaper recommended the Martinez brothers. They responded the next day, Ishmael Martinez met for an estimate the day after that, and were at the house with Jose ready to climb the next morning, bright and early. efficient, on time and extremely thorough. "The crew arrived promptly in the morning and began working, clearing shrubs and a wood pile. They were excellent in removing trees, especially those that bordered my neighbor's fence. They used ropes to ensure the tree limbs did not fall on my neighbor's property and a combination of handheld chainsaws and chainsaws mounted on extensions to reach the higher branches. They bought their own truck-mounted chipper which came in handy for disposing of the larger tree limbs. Their professional experience on tree removal was on display when it came to trimming the branches of a 30-year old tree that was over hanging on my property. It was amazing to witness how they surgically removed the over hanging branches - being careful to remove just enough to ensure the tree remained balanced and healthy. At the end of the job, the crew thoroughly cleaned the lawn removing any smaller branches."

"Mike and all of his crew at Forever Green tree service are beyond amazing! They are professional, prompt, hard working, and very friendly. I have never seen or heard of a machine that can actually go over a house to cut down the trees in the back yard. I watched this amazing show from beginning to end. This hydraulic claw which looks a little like the claws in an arcade is moved over the house by Mike the owner. He has the controls in his hands. The claw grabs part of the tree and once in it's grip saws it off. Then Mike slowly brings that large part of the tree over the house and lays it in the yard. From there the shredder came, as Mike was cutting two other guys were shredding. These guys work in unison, everyone knows what to do and how to do it. This company is highly recommended !!! All the photos I took are too large for Angi's list except this one."

"Tom came out to give me an estimate as scheduled, and took the time to discuss the possibilities with me. He and his crew arrived on the date and at the time agreed upon to trim the huge ash tree in my yard. His crew was very conscientious about safeguarding my and my neighbors yard items (tables, chairs, grills etc.) My tree is so large it extends over several yards. They did a wonderful job trimming it, exactly as we had discussed, and cleaned up all of the debris afterward. Then they put everyone's yard items back the way they found them! I am very happy with their work. I recommended them to my parents who were also pleased."

"I met with John to give me an estimate to cut a few trees. I had 1 tree in the front yard, 1 tree in the back yard, and about 4 trees just behind the backyard fence. He told me they will use the crane/bucket to cut the front yard tree. My house is surrounded by a chain link fence. I ask him if they will need to break the fence and he said no. I text John later in the week that they can break the fence in the back yard if they needed to because it was already partially broken from the fallen tree branches. When the crew came, the crew leader say he needs to break the front yard fence to get his truck into the backyard. I'm like what? John didn't say anything about that. I thought they were going to climb up the trees in the backyard. Since I was planning to replace the fence, I let them go ahead and break it. They finish the entire job in about 4 hours."
