"Did a fantastic job on the gutters. Even painted the downspouts for me. Missed a few clean up spots on the last day (didn't sweep deck of debris, some material found around the perimeter of the house). I did have to follow up a few times on the timing of the project, but once it was started it was done quickly."

"The guys did a great job for us. Their gutters have the profile of wood moulding instead of standard gutters, so they look great. Gutters are larger than standard and gutter guards have a unique design to keep debris off the top. A little pricier than their competitors, but worth the investment."

Gutter Repair and Replacement questions, answered by experts

Yes, many homeowners find that seamless gutters are worth the investment. Although they have a higher upfront cost than standard gutters—an average of $2,700 compared to $2,000—their benefits often outweigh the price difference. Seamless gutters last longer, require less maintenance, and are less prone to clogs and leaks due to having fewer seams. In contrast, standard gutters typically have seams every 10 feet, which can leak and require new sealant every one to five years. Additionally, seamless gutters are considered more aesthetically pleasing, come in a variety of colors to match your home, and can improve your home's curb appeal and potential value.

If you’re replacing your roof, you don’t need to worry about replacing your gutters as long as they’re functional and in good condition. Some roofers may recommend temporarily removing gutters to prevent them from damage during a roof replacement, but the right professional can reduce this risk. Replacing your gutters would only be necessary if your gutters are in bad shape and already need replacing.

Most homes will sustain water damage without gutters. When a home doesn't have gutters, water that runs off the roof will splash down to the ground to create foundation damage, rotting trim, rotting fascia, and soil erosion. A broken or compromised gutter system can be just as damaging as having no gutters. That's why it's essential to talk to roofing pros about how to fix gutters pulling away from house as soon as you notice an issue.

Leaks, corrosion, sagging sections, and loose fasteners are common problems that need fixing.

If your gutters get overwhelmed every time it rains, adding an extra downspout is a solution. First, you'll need to decide where to add the downspout. If your current setup only has a single downspout, one option is to place a new one at the opposite end of the gutter. If you already have a downspout at each end, adding a third one in the middle can help to lighten the load.

You can hire a professional to add a downspout yourself by cutting into the existing gutter and attaching the necessary parts, such as an outlet and brackets.
