Gutters by Design

The workers showed up the first day to put gutters on the barn, but due the company to sending the wrong screws , the gutter was placed beside the barn for several weeks. Then when they were going to place the gutters on the ell, it was noticed that the roof had an overhang that had to be dealt with by a roofing company, then when that was finished, the back ell gutter was installed, and the problems began and continue . The corner where the house meets the ell had a drip and was leaking, and the workers came repeatedly, but it was not fixed. When winter came , the area below the leak became an ice trap. I sent pictures to the company, and they stopped responding. I had hoped they had fixed it. But now this year it is worse than ever. Water is dripping in this area , and icicles are forming between the gutters and the roof. The contractor has various ideas of why I am having these problems which were not problems until this corner gutter was put on. The back steps are completely unusable , and my electrical box is ice covered as is my back door.

We were very pleased with the job. They arrived in the morning and inspite of the heat and humidity were polite and professional and finished by noon. The price was fair and the gutters look great! We would highly recommend Gutters by Design.

I would highly recommend Gutters by Design and here is why, I had estimate appointments with six different companies. Four never showed for their appointments. One arrived an hour late outside the apartment window measured real quick and told they would email the estimate, I never heard from them again. Randi from Gutters by Design was on time for our appointment. Randi inquired to what I was exactly looking to get done including where I wanted the downspouts to be. Randi measured the property and worked up the estimate. Randi went over the estimate including scope of work and cost. Randi also showed me a sample of what would be installed and explained why they use the product that they do. So clearly I hired Gutters by Design. The install crew did excellent job and where completely professional ( unfortunately I only remember one name Noah) they where very attentive to everything as to not damage anything such as plants, flower boxes, patios, brick walls and walkway. Everything they did came out fantastic and works perfectly. Again I highly recommend Gutters by Design
