Small jobs welcome

""ABSOLUTELY SUPERB" - Ken and Rowen were contracted to install Round River Rock Stone along approximately 180 feet (both sides) of my driveway. Ken promptly answered my request for an estimate. The next day he arrived to view the job and was very thorough about understanding my expectations for the project, He offered advice and is very knowledgeable about how to do top quality work. After my reviewing other estimates my decision was to go with McAdams Excavating, Ken and Rowen arrived as promised and quickly began meticulous work. Material was excavated to provided a 3 inch depth of stone, landscape fabric was installed, finally the stone. The duo were meticulous in all facets of this project and it looks absolutely gorgeous! Do not hesitate to hire this company!!!"

"Konnaugh and his team were a pleasure to work with. They showed up on time, and after demolishing and removing a hot tub and a chicken coop, they left my yard practically spotless! They did such a great job, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for junk removal or yard cleanup ??"

Customers say: Quick response

"Even though Dolloff Lawncare was the ONLY business that responded to my request for services, Mr. Dolloff was very professional, kept in constant communication, came when promised and did a fantastic job of completing my project. He will also follow up occasionally to ensure that the job was finished. Not impressed with the other two companies NOT responding in any way."

Excavating questions, answered by experts

When planning excavating work in Warner, account for the area's shallow granite ledge, which requires specialized rock-breaking equipment. You must also consider the 48-inch frost line to prevent frost heave damage to foundations and utilities. Spring mud season makes site access difficult, so schedule projects carefully. Finally, always call 811 before digging to locate buried utilities, and secure necessary permits if your property sits near local wetlands or steep slopes.

Helpful?

Hitting hidden granite ledge during excavating halts progress, requiring a second visit for rock breaking. In NH, mandatory permit sequencing and phased septic inspections also dictate multiple visits. Winter weather and frozen ground force late-season projects to pause until the spring thaw. Additionally, narrow rural driveways limit equipment size, and unexpected groundwater in valley soils demands extra time for dewatering, extending the overall timeline of your Warner project.

Helpful?

Failing to perform excavating below the 48-inch frost depth causes severe frost heave damage to foundations and pipes. Skipping proper soil testing for septic systems in Warner leads to total system failure and groundwater contamination. You must also implement strict erosion controls on sloped terrain to prevent sediment runoff. Finally, improper backfill compaction around trenches causes the ground to settle, which damages utility connections and undermines driveways across NH.

Helpful?

Proper excavating around your Warner home directly eliminates chronic basement moisture and mold by directing groundwater away from the foundation. Upgrading an aging septic system restores reliable sanitation, while excavating for a drilled well ensures access to clean water. Grading sloped lots prevents dangerous ice buildup near entryways during harsh NH winters. Furthermore, burying overhead utility lines protects your home from power outages caused by heavy snow and ice storms.

Helpful?

Because Warner lacks a municipal sewer system, inspecting and excavating for a septic upgrade is a top priority to ensure safe sanitation. Next, assess your foundation drainage and site grading to direct surface water away from the structure, preventing chronic moisture issues. You should also locate and document all buried utility lines before starting any landscaping projects. Finally, rebuild your driveway base to prevent severe damage during the NH mud season.
