"Hired them to repair leaking chimney. They installed $4500 liner that their employee, Patrick, said would stop leak. It didn't. We won a $4500 (plus costs) small claims judgement in CT which they have not acknowledged. They are located in Patchogue, NY, and service Connecticut also. Stay away from this company!"

Currently serving the Northshore. Over 20yrs of service. Sweeps, inspections, rip down/rebuilds, cut/point, to a simple brick replacements. Resolving major/minor water issues. For $158.00 all sweeps come with a complete written inspection, report of interior and exterior chimney/Heating systems. Sweeps are performed with the removal of damper(when applicable) for complete access to smoke chamber , firebox and smoke shelf. We are CSIA & NORA certified! Also perform stainless steel liner installations And terra-cotta flue Tile replacements. Chimney restorations, preventative maintenance for the longevity of the Chimney. Installation of stainless steel chimney caps, which are fabricated to size For each individual Chimney crown. Lifetime warranty on all Chimney caps! Also resolve major/Minor draft issues.
"Cornerstone came out to do a fireplace sweep/inspection. They were very clean and thorough. Explain to us that you do not necessarily need a Sweep every year. and to base your Sweeps per 1 cord of wood as a watermark . Now we burn a cord of wood every 2 to 3 years.They were very knowledgeable and honest. other companies that have been out here have persisted that we need to have a Sweep performed every year. Which we now know is not the truth, but in oversell. I will not use another company ever again, but will remain with Cornerstone from this point in into the future"

The weatherstripping soon failed and came off the doors, and the paint job was poorly executed. This spring, I was preparing to move and discovered that he had dumped all his construction debris, including the old door, behind my garage and onto my neighbor's property. I also discovered he had thrown scrap wood in my bushes next to the house. He also had issues with promptness."
