The final bill came in $695 less than the binding estimate. Although their initial estimate was not the lowest, the final bill was lower than the other estimates I had gotten. They showed up on time, worked diligently, quietly, neatly and were done quickly. I had many valuable and delicate things to be packed and moved, including a baby grand piano and several pieces of antique furniture and they handled everything with care. Everything was delivered to the appointed place on time and was unloaded quickly. I have not unpacked the dishes and other breakables so I don't know if anything was broken, but no furniture or large items were mishandled or broken and I've every reason to think that my things are in good condition

The only difficulty I had was in initially contacting the office for the quote. Initial phone messages weren't returned, and it took some prodding to get the written estimate. But after the dates were agreed to and the contract was signed, everything went smoothly

We were concerned that we have reliable, skilled and professional movers to handle our prized antiques, removing them from our home in the country to an antique dealer's shop. The last movers we had hired two years ago on a cross country move had destroyed approximately $3k worth of furniture, so we were quite concerned that this not happen again!! Dartmouth Moving and Storage did a great job. Two men did all the work and protected the furniture well. All items arrived in good condition and the movers were prompt and courteous. Good job! "Responsive and dependable. When we called the phone number the voicemail was full, but then we texted and had great communication with Nichole throughout the whole transaction.
