Floor Coverings International North Boston

So my wife and I had just moved into a home built in the 60's, and it literally still looked that way. We had a plan though! Let's paint, floor, add and replace a few fixtures and viola! It works for everyone on TV right? Anyway, this review is for Bill Crouch (yes a flooring guy named Crouch! lol), of "Floor Coverings International North Boston." Having just painted the house we now needed flooring to kick this house into the 21st century. This is where Bill and his fabulous team come in. He contacted us, listened to what wanted, and set up a time for an in home consult. He arrived on time with many flooring samples, from hardwood, to luxury vinyl, and carpet. He had it all! My wife and I were nervous, and not sure about any of it, but Bill was very knowledgeable being in the field for years. He explained the pros and cons of each type of flooring, what was in, and what wasn't, and generally gave my wife and I a real great sense of the possibilities, right in our home! Being able to see and feel the different flooring types we were considering in the home was a big help. Anyway, Bill took his measurements while my wife and I discussed and looked at the samples. All very nice, I might add. Bill was nice to price out different options for us, being on a budget. We were surprised to learn that the hardwood fell within our range. I thought the decision would be easy, but it wasn't. After hearing Bill talk "Luxury Vinyl" we were really stuck between the two. In the end, for us, we opted for the luxury Vinyl which was just beautiful, and LOW maintenance. Bill gave us a good price, and an estimated start date, so we took the plunge. My wife and I were nervous of course, but after sitting with Bill, we knew we were going to be happy. Bill had a very upbeat, relaxed manner, and good sense of humor. It didn't hurt that he really knew his stuff! So, two weeks later, Bill and his crew arrived on time (with muffins), and went right to work. I must add that we lived in the home while the project was done! Kids and all. They were sensitive to our situation, and told us the day before what to expect the next day. This made a tough situation workable. We never felt like we were in the way, or a burden, even though it couldn't have been optimal for them as a team. Anyway, We were told this was a 3 day job. Sure enough it was, and Bill was here each day in and out overseeing his team, and making runs to the shop as necessary to ensure things stayed on time. I was most impressed seeing Bill take an active roll in the quality of the work. Not to say his team didn't, because they did. It's just that each job is unique and a bit different as he explained. He would check everything to the last detail. He was touching things up as necessary, or advising his team how to tackle a particular unique situation, which this home presented many times. I know a few things changed as we went along, and Bill shifted on the fly, never breaking a sweat, or seeming concerned. Just another day for this seasoned pro. In the end, the flooring was beautiful throughout the home, done on time, exceeded expectations, and there were no added, hidden or surprise fees. Bill Crouch was a man of his word! He said we'd love it. He said it would be stress free. He said it would be 3 days and no added fees. He came through on all of it. My wife and I are thrilled with the results. Goodbye 1962, hello 2022! I couldn't recommend International Floor Coverings North Boston more. If flooring is what you're looking for, this is the team you want. Thank you Bill for all you did. We couldn't be happier with the new floors.
