"????? If I could give zero stars, I would Hiring this contractor was a nightmare from start to finish. The bathroom they delivered is so poorly done that I feel like I need to redo it entirely. They rely on subpar subcontractors with no professionalism or craftsmanship. ? Overpromise and underdeliver: I had to stay on top of every detail myself, doing the job the contractor was hired to manage. ? Unreliable: Never kept appointments or confirmed schedules. The only time they showed up on time was to collect payment. ? Unsafe practices: At one point, a subcontractor was cutting concrete inside the bathroom with a gas?powered tool, filling my entire home with smoke. I had to intervene to stop it and argue just to get basic protections like tarps in place. ? Poor management: Subcontractors openly complained about not being paid, and I even had to send one home myself because of unacceptable behavior. ? End result: Substandard work that does not reflect the money spent. Save yourself "

New concrete can crack within 12 hours of finishing, as it can be a common occurrence as the concrete dries and cures. Certain weather conditions and temperatures can slow or speed up the cracking. If your location is consistently below freezing, asphalt may be a better choice.

Whether a concrete walkway or sidewalk needs rebar depends on how it will be used. Walkways and sidewalks meant for light foot traffic don’t need rebar, and you can use wire mesh instead. But concrete surfaces that will see heavy machinery will likely need it.

Labor and pouring adds between $8 and $18 per square foot to your total for concrete delivery. Especially for larger projects, it’s usually a good idea to hire a professional concrete delivery company when it comes to installing concrete surfaces even though it will undoubtedly cost more to hire a pro to do the work for you.
