"Never having had to hire someone to fix my AC unit only to install it (and the company was not reputable), I had serious trust issues. Action was the only one to contact me of all the suggested companies. That made me even more suspicious! They were able to fit me in for the next day. Hmm, more hesitation. But I rested in Action's good reviews on HomeAdvisor and kept the appointment. I was so happy I did. Mike was fantastic. He was personable and extremely informative. He knows his AC and heat pumps really well. I look forward to having them back in a couple of weeks to clean my furnace and do some cleaning and troubleshooting on a Hearthstone gas fireplace. When one finds a company one can trust, well, stick with them and get what needs to be done, done. I am so happy to have done something so out of my nature, like trusting HomeAdvisor. "Computer did the "gotta send info to Microsoft" but when tried to reboot it ran through automatic repair without success. I did all the alternative without any success. He came and picked up the hard drive on Tuesday and returned it on Saturday. Fortunately he was able to "restore" without any data loss. Very happy with outcome."

"I called Gregg and he came out to survey the situation within a couple of days. He was hopeful that he might be able to bring the bathroom up to code without ripping out all the fixtures, but couldn't say for sure without actually cutting a hole in the wall in the room next door. About three days later he called to ask if his associate Donny could come out and take a look. I thought he was just going to cut the hole and then let Gregg make a final decision. Instead, Donny got the job done by mid afternoon. Not only that, he didn't leave a speck of dust even though he had to jackhammer into the foundation.
I am very pleased with the result and the price, to say nothing of the speed with which the job got done. I think it was less than two weeks from the initial call to finalizing the work.

"We were concerned with a couple of issues and they put our minds at ease.  They were professional and efficient;  George and Joe cleaned up after themselves, were very carefully to always use a drop cloth, and kept us in the loop on the installation.  If we had one area we wished that Lake Sunapee Heating would improve it would be in the area of customer communication.  However, we are more than satisfied with their work and would recommend this business.
Overall assessment:  quality workmanship at a reasonable price.
