"Our driveway had drainage issues and was a mess. After having 3 papers look at it, and getting quotes from 2, JY Paving was within our budget. After contacting Jim that he had the job, work began promptly. Dealt first with Dave and Dick, who took expertly care of our drainage. These two are excellent to deal with, explaining everything they would be doing and checking in before leaving. Within short order things had dried up where paving could begin. When things were dry, the JY crew paved everything in a day, paying attention to the little details to assure that we shouldn't deal with a drainage problem again. The driveway looks amazing. Recycled asphalt is a durable choice for a driveway, but doesn’t have the same appearance and low maintenance as standard asphalt. For long driveways in rural communities, recycled asphalt can make a great choice. Recycled asphalt is 20% to 30% percent less expensive than standard asphalt and is better for the environment. 

The ideal distance between stepping stones depends on your design preference. A general rule is to place them about 24 inches apart from center to center to match an average person's stride. Compared to a 10x20 concrete driveway costing between $800 and $3,000, a resin bound driveway of the same size costing $3,900 to $4,000 is the more expensive option. However, the cost still makes resin a cheaper option compared to a 10x20 paver driveway costing an average of $12,000.

A security gate like a swing gate, double swing gate, bi-folding gate, vertical gate, or pivot gate could work just as well as your driveway gate—if not better for your home depending on which qualities you’re after.
