"I discovered a bat flying around in the attic on a Saturday afternoon. I reached out to Birch Hill and they responded immediately by text and email. As it wasn't an emergency, we scheduled a visit that Monday afternoon for Birch Hill to assess the situation. Birch Hill confirmed the bats and determined that they were probably getting in via a gap in the top of the roof. Birch Hill returned the next day and installed a Roof Guard product along the roof line to prevent access to the attic. They also installed a bat extraction tube for the bats to find their way out. They also recommended chimney caps on the top of our fireplace to prevent potential wildlife access. Additionally, they sealed various holes at the base of the siding of the house. Two weeks later, Birch Hill returned, checked out the attic, and removed the bat extraction tube on the roof, and put the finishing touches on sealing up the exit hole. SUCCESS. "We ordered two propane stoves and were going to have them install them. But after getting a general note about going out of business got nothing in specific on our deposits or service we were expecting. I responded to this general email and got a response from Kyle saying get off my high horse and be patient. His wife Heidi did provide one of the stoves but we never got the other one. We are out the deposit of $1700 with no alternative to get a stove or get my money back on the deposit. As far as I am concerned they stole that money and are crooks. This guy Kyle was full of himself giving me a lecture via email about his high moral ethics in business and how he was a man of honor and good character. As as far as I am concerned he is full of s*** and now Sin Cal is permanently closed with no recourse to get my money back. I have hired a lawyer and will pursue legal means to get restitution or at the very least cost them money. This guy has other businesses and if you see him associated with any contractor or contracting businesses pull clear this guy is a crook."

"Squirrels were in attic and now appear to be gone. Entry points were blocked. One way doors and final close up is yet to be completed. Also treated for mouse infestation. No mice caught in several weeks and many entry points were blocked. Winter will tell for sure if all entry points were plugged, so far so good. Squirrel removal and blocking entry points seemed high priced for the less than 1/2 day work required by 1 person, over $1600. A return trip is needed but suspect will require less than 30 minutes, I wish I tried to negotiate on the price, the squirrel work was three times the cost of mouse work and both took about same amount of time. The mouse work is under 1 year agreement with 3 quarterly visits as well."
