Pat arrived very quickly! He was friendly and professional. It was a tricky fix, but he found the problem, and fixed one we didn't know about. Super reasonable! I paid him a tip. Because I was impressed.

The service manager George went above and beyond on my behalf. Even though my mower was out of warranty a few months. Let me say he got Troy built to to agree to replace my mower. But he told me because of a manufacturer defect the new mower would eventually experience the same problem. George then offered to fix the mower and correct the issue with a part the they would add and weld, so the problem wouldn't reoccur. Troy built took their time sending the parts, but as soon as they got in. I got my mower back with no charge to me. George really went above and beyond on my behalf. So as far as I am concern they have a customer for life. Don't hesitate to select this business for your lawn care needs. This is the Whole Truth and Nothing But The Truth!

They picked, repaired and returned our snow thrower all in one business week. The other places I called couldn't get to it for weeks. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and the job was done quickly and well.

I had a 5 year old lawn tractor that had never been serviced. It needed a some expert attention and I found that with J & J Small Engine. They had my tractor running like new again and even sharpened and balanced the blades. I truly felt like I was dealing with old friends that I could trust. Everything from conversations with the office staff to Tim exceeded my expectations. I will definitely not wait 5 years to use them again.

It is a great place to get your lawn mower fixed. He is just great. He has to fix it this year as well. The snow blower that he fixed last year was great. He came, picked it all up and brought it back. He is a nice guy. I would use his services in the future too.

We were in the middle of a horrible blizzard and our snow blower broke down. We snow blow for everybody on our street as a favor, and all the old people could not get out to do their driveways, so my husband took it to them, and they called us the next morning at 10:00 and said it was ready to be picked up. My husband is the one who dealt with them, but he was just tickled pink because it was a cheap fix and they called us as soon as it was ready. We did not have to sit around wondering if it was done. I think they understood that it was a bad spot to be in with a terrible blizzard with no way to clear the walks or the drives. The guy actually did us a favor by actually applying a little shield to the snow blower to prevent the problem from happening again. Their price was very cheap and they did a good job. We have used that snow blower a lot since then, and it has not had anymore problems. I would definitely use them again in the future if I need to.

Self propelled stopped working/stammered/stuttered. With the size of my yard, couldn't have that. Got on internet and googled lawn mower repair in omaha, wasn't satisfied with what we found, had remembered hearing of Angie's List.com. This is where we found George's shop and by luck it happened to be near by. Called up late friday afternoon and inquired about having our lawn mower serviced, George said bring it in saturday early afternoon. We took it in on saturday about noon, explained the problem, and he mentioned it might monday or tuesday. As luck would have it, he called back the same day we took it in...later on that afternoon. Explaining the problem and how much it would cost, asking for authorization to do the work. Called him back on Sunday-(the day the shop is closed) left a message on his machine to do the work. We then recieved a call Early Monday morning, telling us it was ready for pick up! We couldn't be more happy with his service, demeanor, professionalism, and the work done on our mower. A+++ in our book!George has a client for life!

The only reason I'm giving this business an "A" is because Angie's doesn't have an A+ rating ! On 6/1/13, the bolt that held the mower blade to the mower housing sheared off on my Troy-Bilt mower,, causing the blade to fall off and leaving half the bolt still in the screw socket. I didn't have the tools or know-how to remove the remainder of the bolt from the socket.. The day of the break-down I took my mower to two different shops in Omaha. The first one, a shop I had patronized for 5 years, told me thyey could fix it, but it would take 3 weeks. A second shop told me it would cost me $70.00 just to look at the mower, with no guarantee they could fix it, and if they could it would cost extra. At that point, I joined Angie's List as I knew of no other repair shops to contact. I found this business with 11 great reviews, so I decided to show up first thing on a Monday morning with the mower to see if they could help. So, early morning on 6/3/13 I showed up at this business with my mower. The owner, George, greeted me, asked what the problem was, and gave me a quote on the spot. I also then asked him to do a tune up and blade sharpening, and he quoted those prices for me, as well. He said he could and would fix the problem and have the mower fixed within the week. Done deal. Much to my surprise, George called me six hours later and told me the mower was completely fixed and tuned-up and ready for pick up ! The charge was actually less than what he quoted, because the fix turned out to be easier than he thought it was going to be.The mower was fixed, all cleaned up, and worked better than it has since I first unpacked it three years ago. It is with some hesitation that I write this review. This business is a real find for anyone with small engine repair needs, and I don't want the business to become similar to one of those shops I tried to patronize earlier. However, this business deserves all the praise I can give it, and if only one other customer finds their way to George's shop and is helped out in a time of need, then I'm glad to have shared this information.
