Pat arrived very quickly! He was friendly and professional. It was a tricky fix, but he found the problem, and fixed one we didn't know about. Super reasonable! I paid him a tip. Because I was impressed.

The service manager George went above and beyond on my behalf. Even though my mower was out of warranty a few months. Let me say he got Troy built to to agree to replace my mower. But he told me because of a manufacturer defect the new mower would eventually experience the same problem. George then offered to fix the mower and correct the issue with a part the they would add and weld, so the problem wouldn't reoccur. Troy built took their time sending the parts, but as soon as they got in. I got my mower back with no charge to me. George really went above and beyond on my behalf. So as far as I am concern they have a customer for life. Don't hesitate to select this business for your lawn care needs. This is the Whole Truth and Nothing But The Truth!

They picked, repaired and returned our snow thrower all in one business week. The other places I called couldn't get to it for weeks. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and the job was done quickly and well.

  • J & J Small Engine Service

I had a 5 year old lawn tractor that had never been serviced. It needed a some expert attention and I found that with J & J Small Engine. They had my tractor running like new again and even sharpened and balanced the blades. I truly felt like I was dealing with old friends that I could trust. Everything from conversations with the office staff to Tim exceeded my expectations. I will definitely not wait 5 years to use them again.

  • TED'S MOWER SALES & SERVICE

We dropped the blower off a table and not surprisingly it didn't work. We took it to Ted's and they replaced the broken part on the spot. Quick, easy and inexpensive.

  • Discount Lawn & Service

I highly recommend Discount Lawn and Service for their quick turnaround time, quality work, and reasonable fees. Before finding Discount Lawn and Service, I used another Omaha lawn mower repair shop and had to wait four weeks to get my mower back! Plus, they were much more expensive. Now I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

My lawn mower is old and sat outside all winter so I expected to be told it was time to buy a new one but George said the Lawn Boy is a good brand and he gave me hints on how to care for my yard equipment which no other lawn equipment service provider ever did. George explained it is best to always use "fresh" gas for equipment with small motors and, for my equipment, to use 4-oz. of 2-cycle engine oil for every 1-gallon of gas (and he gave me a 4-oz baby food jar to use to measure the oil). He also said to let the lawn mower and weed-eater run out of gas at the end of the season, otherwise, the gas turns into shellac inside the motor. I wish somebody had told me this years ago! I did not know to run the gas out of my equipment at the end of each season, otherwise I would have. This explains why my weed-eater did not start and why the mower has been sluggish – the gas turned to shellac sitting inside the motor over the winter. The first thing I did when I got home was run the gas out of my snow-blower. I will have my snow-blower serviced by this company before winter. I am very pleased with the professionalism and courtesy exhibited by the owner of this company. He is the first lawn equipment repair service to explain to me how to take care of my equipment. None of the other companies I used before did this which shows this company values "me" as a customer.

Self propelled stopped working/stammered/stuttered. With the size of my yard, couldn't have that. Got on internet and googled lawn mower repair in omaha, wasn't satisfied with what we found, had remembered hearing of Angie's List.com. This is where we found George's shop and by luck it happened to be near by. Called up late friday afternoon and inquired about having our lawn mower serviced, George said bring it in saturday early afternoon. We took it in on saturday about noon, explained the problem, and he mentioned it might monday or tuesday. As luck would have it, he called back the same day we took it in...later on that afternoon. Explaining the problem and how much it would cost, asking for authorization to do the work. Called him back on Sunday-(the day the shop is closed) left a message on his machine to do the work. We then recieved a call Early Monday morning, telling us it was ready for pick up! We couldn't be more happy with his service, demeanor, professionalism, and the work done on our mower. A+++ in our book!George has a client for life!
