He provided repair options for those items as well. He was able to get the final project scheduled reasonably quickly, and they had pretty manageable financing options that fit my budget also. Ivan and Issac were assigned to the actual repairs. There were no deviations from what their work plan was and what I had requested. They worked quickly and finished in about two hours, completing repairs to a small section of sidewalk in front of the house and to the concrete patio at the back of the house. Overall very painless process with very professional individuals. 10/10 would recommend at this point."

"I prefer to use independent contractors, but was told by several contractors that I would need to use Epp Foundation for this job. I should have brought someone in from out of town. Unbeknownst to me, a salesman (not someone who does the work) came out to make the bid. It ended up being a situation where he didn't know what needed to be done. To make a long story short, using Epp is like taking your vehicle to a salesman to find out what needs repaired instead of to a mechanic. This cost me both time and money. The crew was great but the salesman dropped the ball and his boss backed him instead of providing customer support. Epp repaired some concrete outside the building, but I used an independent contractor to repair the inside and saved 50% on the cost of the repair. Seek out another company even if it means bringing someone in from out of town."

A well-made brick wall can last up to 100 years if maintained properly, which includes regularly repairing the mortar every 30 to 50 years. It’s called cobblestone because it’s made of stones that are “cobbed” together. A cob is a term that refers to rounded lumps. Originally, cobblestone streets were made from pebbles and stones gathered from riverbeds that had been rounded over time by the passage of water. The term has nothing to do with a cobbler, which is the term for someone who makes and fixes shoes.

In certain cases, such as when dealing with surfaces like concrete rather than brick, grout can be used instead of mortar. Grout tends to be more convenient to work with on non-masonry surfaces.
