"They go above and beyond. They have done two different projects and they did great. They stick to the price they give you. Couldn't be happier with their work."

"Duane called me immediately and came out to my house the following morning. My garage door had fallen down and my car was stuck inside. Duane got the part (the spring had broken) and he fixed the garage door the same day. I was very impressed. Duane was professional, friendly, prompt and reasonable. He is who I will call again for any handyman work I need done. Sally Seidl"

"We hired Paul for a panelling job on two walls that required some interesting cuts and a high vaulted ceiling. It came out great. We only asked for the panels to be out up, all the finishing touches we were able to do on our own. The work he did was great. He also kindly offered to finish the job for the original price if it went over. It didn't. Showed up on time both days and was nice to work with. I wish I could submit pictures on here but it won't let me. I'll direct you to Pauls Facebook page which should have pictures of our project."

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

You should not attempt to disable a smoke alarm unless you’ve already activated a replacement unit. To stop a hardwired smoke alarm from beeping, reset the device or silence the alarm. If you’re removing a hardwired alarm, shut off the power, turn the unit counterclockwise to remove it from the ceiling, and disconnect the wiring.

As with any smoking appliance, a smoking oven is a concerning fire risk. It also negatively impacts your indoor air quality, which can put vulnerable people at risk of breathing problems. A dirty oven can catch fire if you don’t stay on top of regular maintenance, so remember to check your oven for signs that it’s time for a cleaning and remove buildup every three months to stay on the safe side.

If a light switch is off, it’s very unlikely to cause a fire. For a fire to start, the switch has to be on, activating an electrical current, and the wiring must be faulty. However, the malfunctioning light switch could cause an intermittent current to move across the electrical wire. This issue could become a fire hazard with another device connected to the wire. You should replace the bad light switch as soon as you notice it or call an electrician.

No material is genuinely fireproof, so there’s no genuinely fireproof safe. Any material would break down if exposed to a hot enough temperature for long enough. That said, safes can withstand certain house fires. Manufacturers use the term “fireproof” synonymously with “fire resistant.”

No, it is not safe to use an outlet that sparked. A spark from an outlet could indicate a short circuit, loose or frayed wiring, or other serious damage. Continuing to use an outlet that sparks can increase the risk of electrical shock, electrical fires, and other hazards. It's important to turn off the power to the outlet at the circuit breaker if possible and avoid using the outlet until a licensed electrician has inspected and repaired it.
