"If I could give them 0 stars I would. I’m not someone who writes reviews but I am making a point to post this. We have purchased a water heater, new AC, and almost purchased a furnace from them all in the last 3 years. I now question whether or not we actually needed to replace our water heater and AC, because they heavily pitched us on just buying a new one at the time and we trusted them. When our furnace stopped working, we called them yet again and their tech came out and spent a couple hours trying to fix the problem before deciding we needed a new motherboard. He contacted “his reps” and we waited for a week and a half for “his reps” to ultimately send the wrong part. No one realized this and the tech came out and worked on putting the wrong motherboard in for a few hours. When the tech eventually figured out it was the wrong part, he contacted “his rep” and they said they can’t get our motherboard anymore and we would have to buy a whole new furnace. By this point, we were without heat for 2+ weeks in mid to late October. Then the sales guy calls me to pitch me his quotes on a new furnace and talks down to me because I’m a woman, telling me I should speak with my husband. Disgusting. He gives me a quote that is about $1500 higher than the other company we ultimately went with. Fast forward to now and this company has the guts to send us a bill for $500. For what? The tech literally did nothing the entire time he was here. We are happy to pay for his time for the initial visit when we didn’t know what was wrong, but it’s not our fault their “rep” sent the wrong part and sent their tech on a wild goose chase for 3+ hours. Send the bill to their rep or eat the cost. If the rep had told them they couldn’t get the part in the first place, it would have been over with right there. When my husband called to argue, the sales guy acted like he was doing us a favor by somehow sending us a bill for only $500. What? Absolutely sleazy sales techniques. I have already told multiple people never to work with this company and plan to tell everyone who will listen never to work with them. This is NOT how you treat people, especially good customers who have already purchased an AC and water heater through you. Shame on you."

Wells and Pumps questions, answered by experts

When testing the pressure of your well tank, the psi should be two below the cut-on pressure. For example, if your tank is set to 40/60, then your pressure should be at 38 psi.

Signs that your well is dry include a decrease in water pressure, strange odors coming from faucets, cloudy, bubbly, or discolored water, and water that’s warmer than normal. Signs that your well pump is bad are similar, but you may also notice higher-than-average electric bills, strange clicking sounds, and faucets that spit or sputter.

Many contractors offer warranties for parts and labor. Confirm terms before hiring.

Every 1-2 years to ensure optimal performance and prolong lifespan.

How do you set your well’s pressure tank? All you need to do is first drain the tank of water and find the pressure switch. Remove the switch cover and adjust the switch with a wrench—clockwise to increase water pressure, and counter-clockwise to reduce it. Each complete turn of the nut on the switch should equal 2.5 psi. Once this is done, replace the switch cover. All that’s left is to adjust the pressure of the tank itself using an air compressor and a tire gauge to support the new setting.
