BEST PET BOARDING GRMNG SPPLY

It went very well, I had no problems with Best Pet. We have taken our pets to them for boarding for many years and each time our dogs have been taken care of very well.

Horrible smelly... not clean. Dogs had skin problems when retuned home. Just nasty.

Our pets will never be the same due to their visit at this place of business. They say, they have never had anyone complain in 40 years of service. Wow...what a bunch of lies! There have been many stories of neglect, abuse and death in the care of Best Pets of Minot. Donna Denham is the owner's daughter...and now is attacking someone ELSE in the community who does actually care about animals...my advice...stay away!

When I originally called Best Pets, they informed us they were full the week of Christmas.  They then called and said they had an opening.  I said that we had 4 dogs, and would it be large enough and ok to kennel them all together.  They told us, yes the kennel we have that opened is a corner unit, lots of space and would be fine for our 2 large dogs and 2 small dogs to stay in one unit.  I said ok.  We dropped them off and from that time, our dogs were in trouble.  When we returned, I picked up our dogs a little after opening at 8:00...they opened at 7:45.  When I came in, I immediately smelled urine.  I walked back to the corner unit, which was connected to the other units and could have put my finger between the bars.  There were so many dogs.  Much more that could be taken care of by 2 employees.  My three dogs came running out, and my small Shih Tzu, Baxter stayed behind and would not even come to me.  I went back for him, and was shocked and almost physically sick to see my dog, bloody, in pain, crying, soaked in urine and feces.  His eye was soaked in dried blood and fur was attached to it.  I immediately asked the owners daughter what happened.  She stated she hadn't noticed.  Her mother, the owner of the kennel said, oh yes...I saw that, I thought he came in that way.  I took Baxter immediately to the Dr.  She told us he would more than likely lose his eye, but told us she could sew it shut until Friday to determine if the eye would heal enough to save.  I received threatening calls from the daughter, saying it was our fault.  Bad grooming.  We had groomed him 2 weeks prior to his horrifying visit to Best Pet.  She informed me, that he mother had actually had poor eyesight and had not in fact seen what she stated when I was there.  She called many times, screaming at me that we owed her money, only to hang up on me.  I have since, filed a complaint with the Sheriffs department and Baxter ended up losing his eye, and has incurred horrible injuries to his leg.  This was explained to us by the Dr, that more than likely the injury happened 2-3 days prior.  Our blanket was soaked in urine and all the dogs were dehydrated, scared, hungry and sick.  Baxter got the worst of it.  Since then I have received many stories of similar experiences.  This has been horrible for our entire family, but worst that our dogs, especially Baxter was hurt by this.  If you want additional information, please look up on Facebook Baxter Gabel, or community Baxter.  I could NEVER recommend this horrible and disgusting place.
