After years of service in the swimming pool industry, I realized I was deeply passionate about swimming pools. I always wanted people to enjoy clear and light-blue pools all season round. To have more impact and increase accessibility of responsible pool maintenance, I founded the company on the basic virtues of GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, QUALITY WORK, and UPFRONT PRICING.

Award winning Southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina spa, hot tub, swim spa and pool repair vendor since 1978. We sale and service a wide array of products to help you enjoy your patio year round. We have recently expanded our Hot Tub sales into the Navy Exchange at Oceana, JEB Little Creek, NOB and the Coast Guard Exchange in Chesapeake and Elizabeth City. In 2012 we became the preferred hot tub and pool service vendor for American Home Shield Insurance Company.

"The sales experience was great, but there was damage to one outside panel that has still not been addressed. The hot tub was delivered and craned over the house. When they unwrapped it, there was one panel that had a severe crack and damage. This was discovered by the installation crew and reported right away. Since then, I have made many calls to the Service department and get all the answers that it will be replaced at no cost to me. It has now been over 6 months the company has not made a single attempt to reach out to me. Also, the installation crew didn't try to figure out a solution to install the cover. They provided a lot of excuses about why they couldn't install due to the spacing. I ended up installing the cover myself. My biggest issue is with the service and support side ghosting me with these repairs that they have claimed to have responsibility for and with the poor installation experience. The subcontractors for electrical and the crane were excellent, but not the delivery and installation from the company. I would not recommend this company at all due to installation team, poor service and negligible support after purchase."

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

A retaining wall can only function as a fence if it’s high enough on all sides to prevent someone from accidentally falling into the pool. However, most retaining walls retain dirt, which means their purpose is not related to safety. There would need to be nothing on the other side of the wall for it to be considered a fence, but in that case, it wouldn’t retain anything and would cease to be a retaining wall.

There are many factors to consider when building an in-ground concrete pool. This includes the pool’s primary purpose (relaxation or exercise) if you live in a warm or cold climate (how often it’ll be used), and if you have the budget for chemical treatments and pool maintenance. In-ground pools are often more costly than aboveground pools, but they’re considered more luxurious and hold more value.

The safest pool fence depends on what you’re trying to protect against. If you’re concerned about children and pets, a fence with gaps between or under the material isn’t advisable, as they could get through it. Mesh fences tend to reach the height requirements needed for pool fence safety, although they are not the most durable. Solid fence types, such as wood, concrete, or stone have the best chance of protecting the surface area around a pool, so long as they are high enough to discourage anything, or anyone, from climbing over them.

Most importantly, you should never cut corners when building a pool. Whether it’s an in-ground or aboveground, poorly constructed pools are dangerous to both the swimmers and your property. Leaks can even lead to home foundation damage. While you can DIY smaller elements of pool installation, always hire a contractor to oversee the process.

Your pool enclosure’s lifespan will depend on the type and materials, but on average, you can expect it to last 10 to 15 years. The climate and level of maintenance will also affect how long your pool enclosure lasts.

If you’re unsure of how your pool is doing in general, you can always get a pool inspection to make sure everything’s running smoothly.
