"I found Blue Water Yard Services thru Angie s List and I did not here from anyone until Mike Johnson called me from Home Advisor. Mike came by that day and gave me a quote for Mulching my gardens and to more a bush. I hired him and he came the next day. I also gave him the job to do my backyard and for two days Mike and his crew and my yard looks awesome. I highly recommended Mike Johnson and crew from Blue Water Yard Services"

Chester arrived on time with his crew.  They had the entire area prepped and ready to pour the concrete by early afternoon.  The project was completed by around 6 p.m.  We were told about the curing process, such as when our dogs could walk on the new area and when the grill could be moved.

We are very pleased with the end results and will always recommend this company to others needing concrete work.

"We had a wonderful experience working with Mike from Riverbirch customs to finish our basement. He is extremely knowledgeable about home repairs/remodeling, and design. Riverbirch remodeled and refinished our entire basement space turning one large unfinished room into 3 functioning areas - storage, laundry/storage, and then open play space. We have been thrilled with the results. Mike is easy to work and communicate with, reasonably priced, and his quality of work is unmatched. Mike also has a great eye for design and worked closely with us to understand what would be the best layout to maximize our space in each area. The entire process was easy and fun. Go with Riverbirch! You will not be disappointed!"

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

The best way to save money on snow removal is to sign up for a seasonal contract that guarantees service throughout the entire winter. Most companies charge between $200 and $600 for this service, and they’ll often give you a break on the price if you extend annually. Of course, savings will depend on your area. If you live in a moderate climate where snowfall may or may not occur, you could pay more than you need during a light snow year. Still, it’s usually a safe bet to sign a seasonal contract.

Natural ice melts can often get the job done without damaging concrete. You can try non-corrosive options such as kitty litter, alfalfa meal, coffee grounds, sugar beet juice, and heated snow-melting mats. While they may cause some staining, these natural melts are safe for concrete, pets, and the environment.

While it’s less common than on other kinds of roofs, yes, ice dams can form on metal roofs. Metal roofs, particularly those with snow guards installed, can still accumulate ice at the roof edge, although ice dams on metal roofs are less likely to cause roof or interior damage than on traditional asphalt shingle roofs.

Yes, many companies offer convenient options to accommodate service timing needs.

While DIY is possible for small areas, professional services provide fast, efficient removal for large properties or heavy snowfall.
