"Amazing renovations did a very nice job on my remodel. I was under a time crunch to renovate my rental unit and they started right away and worked very efficiently. I had previously had problems finding a contractor who was available or who would dedicate concentrated time and resources to my job so I really appreciated the level of energy that Amazing Renovations gave right from the start. Additionally, Richie came up with a creative solution for me to create an owners storage room in my garage. I also liked that they were skilled at a variety of tasks with everything from construction to fence installation, etc. They also have a wide array of subcontractors who they work with which was helpful in expediting the project. They also provided a lot of communication, and sought my input on decisions. Their prices I felt were reasonable, and their employees were polite and hard-working. I would definitely use them again."

"This was my first round at a bathroom remodel. It all went perfectly! Wise Grove Builders did an excellent job. Super talented workmen. Builder was professional. Everyone was respectful, friendly, and neat. They did a great job. They will be the only call I make when I get ready to do my kitchen. They even sent a team of ladies to clean everything to a sparkle when the project was finished. What a treat!"

Small jobs welcome

"Pleasant to deal with: From the moment they stopped by to check out the project. Started measuring on the spot. I received an estimate within days. Once a date was scheduled, they promptly arrived. They removed cedar shake shingles, installed the vinyl, removed all debris--all in one day. I am very pleased with their work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Elite Contracting."

"I would highly recommend this business.  We had them come and restain the deck and at first just powerwash the house.  They scheduled the work right away.  After doing the pressure washing, there were some areas with paint chips under the soffit.  Mike offered to repaint those for free.  During this, they noticed areas of the soffit that were rotten, so we had them repair those areas of the wood.  They also fixed a few screens that were damaged during the pressure washing for free.
Everything turned out great, and we are very happy we had this work done.  Mike and Crystal are very professional and easy to work with.  I will be having them do some more work on our house in the near future.

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

The primary parts of a house that need framing during construction are floors, exterior walls, interior walls, and the roof. The framing in these areas provides the skeleton for adding other materials over the top. With walls, for example, contractors can hang drywall over the interior walls and siding over the outside of the exterior walls. Proper framing ensures a sturdy house that is built to last.

For a professional carpenter, installing a window seat can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days, depending on some aspects of the project. Aside from building the seat itself, if they have to remove any cabinets, shelves, or baseboards, that will add time to the project.

The average cost of DIY window framing is about $40 to $60 in materials. If you hire a window treatment professional, you’ll pay for materials plus labor costs—anywhere from $250 to $800 per window. The final cost is highly dependent on the window size, as larger windows are heavier and more difficult to install, as well as the type of window framing material.

Traditionally, bungalows are single-story homes, although having a half or partial story on top of the first floor is common. While adding a second story to a bungalow is certainly possible, the home would no longer be considered a bungalow by the strictest definition.

Yes, professionals can install new frames, trim, and threshold adjustments for a complete finish.
