"He is very professional and very nice. Last time I had my floors done 25 yrs ago, there was dust and sand everywhere. When Todd finished refinishing my floors, there was absolutely no mess to clean up. I would recommend him"

"Great honest contractors. They did my bathrooms, hot water heater, unclogged my house drain and they did a French drain so my basement is not wet anymore. I already hired them to do my whole roof in the spring. I will hire them anytime."

"Previously reviewed this contractor for a small project and the scope expanded after discussing future projects with Joey. He did additional work and advised he could put in a wood floor for us in about a week and a half. After several delays and four weeks, work was nearing completion. Numerous punch list items were generated, which Joey said he would complete after a weeks break. We paid him the full amount expecting his return for completion of the job. After numerous calls he picked up and advised he would call and complete the project. Never happened. No return calls. If you're looking fo false promises, delayed progress because of excuses, this guy is for you. Don't pay ahead or you will lose your money. His workers do most of the work, and Joey may have skills, but he is often not around to follow through on his promises. Another caution you should take is to ensure that he pays workers comp and the sales tax he takes from you. We're in that process now. I would not recommend Joey for ANY work in the future."

Floor Sanding questions, answered by experts

To prepare for a land survey, you must thoroughly check your land surveyor’s qualifications, reviews, and fees to align with your expectations. When it is time for the survey to be conducted, ensure that you have all your documents organized and available, know and mark your property lines, and inform your neighbors that the survey is happening.

A land survey defines and records the physical aspects of a property, including its boundaries, dimensions, easements, features, and sometimes topographical information. In contrast, a land appraisal determines the property's monetary value. While an appraiser will often consult a land survey to understand the property's physical specifications, the survey itself does not determine the land's value.

ALTA/ACSM surveys are the most comprehensive type of land survey and, as such, tend to be the most expensive. These surveys have standardized guidelines and reports and are used in many kinds of real estate transactions to ensure consistent and accurate information is available for properties.

If a buyer pays for a survey, the surveyor they hired will only provide results to them. It’s up to the buyer whether they share the survey results with the seller or not, even if they ultimately walk away from the deal. It’s considered good faith to share the results with the seller, though, especially if you back out of the deal, as the seller can then provide that survey to future interested parties.

Measure from zero on a measuring tape by placing the metal hook right up against the edge of what you need to measure. You can also latch the hook onto an open edge—of, say, a table—to accurately measure as well. If you begin at the 1-inch mark, you'll need to subtract an inch from your total.
