I have been in the drywall business for over 15 years, and I take a lot of pride and satisfaction at what I do. I enjoy what I do, and my main goal is to make my customers happy with my work. I also try to be as honest and helpful as I can along the way. In my business it's not only what you see that matters but also what you don't see. Wires, plumbing, framing, and insulation are all behind my finished product. If there are any issues at all, I don't just cover it up and try to hide it. I got to sleep @ night. I do all of my work by myself which helps keep the labor cost down. That's a win-win situation for you and me. My only employee is "Gaffney" my drywall lift. That's where I bought her, and she doesn't complain too much about the pay and all the "heavy lifting" she does for me. I also have many references on hand as well. We have now hired Mike 3 times over the last 9 years and he doesnâ t disappoint in quality or value. This time we had a large scale downstairs remodel with new drywall install and some refinishing of damaged walls needed. He was on schedule, communicative and his work was so top notch that my very picky husband is very satisfied. Iâ m sure weâ ll hire him a 4th time for our next project as we canâ t seem to find anyone to compare!! Thank you again, Mike!

Do not hesitate to contact Mike for your drywall or acoustical tile project. He worked in 90+ degree heat for several days to complete installing drywall, and acoustical tile ceiling with lighting, and painting to update a laundry/storage room adjacent to our carport. He has an admirable work ethic and his attention to detail went above and beyond my expectations. He provided a very reasonable quote and we received a great value for the quality and quantity of work received. Mike made much-appreciated suggestions which considerably improved our initial ideas. Finally, he texted me daily when he was on his way so that I would know when to expect him. Thank you, Mike, for an A+ job!

There aren't enough stars. We hired Mike to finish our basement and we are extremely happy with his finished product. Mike is an incredibly hard worker with mad drywall skills at a very reasonable price compared to other quotes we got. We had an issue with inspections due to covid, but Mike was very accommodating and worked with us. I honestly cannot recommend Mike's Drywall & Acoustical Ceilings enough.

I highly recommend Mike, he did an outstanding job on my den and bathroom ceilings hanging drywall. He also did excellent work on walls and ceilings throughout the house to prep for paint. Mike came out gave a quote, came back the next week, worked 8hrs a day for 6 days, he even did more work for us before the job was completed, cleaned up the job completely, and all at a fair price. Mike is a trusted pro and takes pride in making sure the job is done to satisfaction! I would highly recommend him to others, and would definitely hire him again and again! You can't go wrong using Mike for your home improvement job.

We hired Mike 3 years ago to do some dry wall repair and kept his info knowing that we'd eventually like to redo our kitchen. We've now almost completed the kitchen and hired Mike to replace and repair all of the walls that were down to the studs in our very large kitchen as well as some wall damage caused by the cabinet removal. Just like 3 years ago we are exceptionally happy with Mike's work. He was timely, worked around our reno schedule, charged an absolutely fair price, and the quality of work makes even my perfectionist husband happy. As expressed in previous posts, his communication is outstanding. He's the best contractor we've worked with during this project and we'll be saving his number for the next remodel. I'd recommend Mike to anyone!

Mike Bess did a FABULOUS job on our extensive home renovation project, which included new walls & ceilings in almost every room (including some very high and challenging walls). Equally important, Mike was a real pleasure to work with. He was super accommodating with our schedules, and with how some areas had to be worked on before, after, or in between others because we were living in the home the entire time. Mike is an excellent craftsman and communicator. For instance, he took the time to notify us each and every time he was on his way to our job. To summarize -- he does great work, is friendly, flexible, and reasonably-priced ... a real 'find'.

Mike does really good work. He took the time to make sure the job was done right and is a very good value. I found him easy to work with and it was easy to find a mutual time for him to perform the work. The quality of the work, the most important part, was second to none. Mike came from 40 minutes away to perform a couple light jobs at our home in Matthews. He communicated his schedule clearly and arrived on time! Mike was a pleasure to work with and is the utmost professional. The holes he repaired looked amazing and he was in and out and cleaned up within two hours.
