"Awful. Bob Dewhurst started the job on March 1, 2021. Was supposed to take 3-5 days. As of May 27, 2021 he has not completed our bathroom and the work that has been done needs to be redone. Shower pan leaks, Onyx walls are bowing, there is a crack in one of the Onyx walls that his crew tried to hide from us with silicone. We have paid him money and he will complete job. If you use him make sure you have an attorney on retainer."

Resurfacing countertops is relatively easy—especially for a pro. It might take a bit longer if your bathtub refinishing contractor needs to fill in significant cracks or gouges. This is the same if you have a specialty tub, like an oversized bathtub—you can expect your pro to take a bit on the longer side.

You can resurface or reglaze your bathtub, and it’s faster and less expensive than replacing a bathtub. Plus, replacing a bathtub is an extensive and intrusive process that requires wall repairs. Refinishing is an excellent option if the old one is in good working condition.

There are also options to install a bathtub liner over your existing tub. However, if you’re seeking a new bathtub with new features, you’ll likely want to replace your tub.

Even at the lowest setting, there’s always a risk that pressure washing might damage your shower or tub. Never use this technique if there’s pre-existing damage in your shower or tub, like peeling caulk, sealant, or cracked tiles. And skip this method entirely if there are any wood features present.
