It was an arched wood ceiling with wooden beams. The end results were exceptional. They cleaned up everything when they were done. I am so glad we found Silva painting. "I would highly recommend this business.  We had them come and restain the deck and at first just powerwash the house.  They scheduled the work right away.  After doing the pressure washing, there were some areas with paint chips under the soffit.  Mike offered to repaint those for free.  During this, they noticed areas of the soffit that were rotten, so we had them repair those areas of the wood.  They also fixed a few screens that were damaged during the pressure washing for free.  
Everything turned out great, and we are very happy we had this work done.  Mike and Crystal are very professional and easy to work with.  I will be having them do some more work on our house in the near future.

"This company worked with our insurance company to replace our roof.  Our only out of pocket expense was our insurance deductible plus for the ridge vent we wanted but insurance wouldn't cover.  Their cost was better than another company we had gotten an estimate from.  All our communication was through the owner, Tom Gentry.  Tom made us felt comfortable from the beginning and we were sure they could be trusted.  We were right!  They did a great job and treated us fairly.  My only regret is that they are pretty far from Raleigh and can't help us with other household repairs we need!  If you need a company that does a great job and treats you fairly, look no further than General Repairs and Restoration!
