Based on the favorable reviews of other members, I called three providers at noon. Unlike the other two, owner Scott Martin returned my call within 20 minutes even, as I learned later, he was away on vacation. I explained my heater had burst and needed quick replacement. I brought up the possibility of installing a tankless heater. He asked about my household make-up and usage, and advised the extra expense would not be cost-effective. He is a Rennai Tankless dealer/installer! He said he might be able to get a technician available in 2 hours and would call me right back. He did, and we arranged for a 4 pm installation.

His tech, Michael called 15 minutes beforehand reporting a traffic delay and he arrived soon after 4. He was very professional and, working alone,  completed the removal and replacement by 7. He checked the connections, discovered a small leak, and fixed that. We had hot water that evening. Scott did not charge extra for an emergency call that ran over into the evening; and, he applied an additional discount for my having found him through Angie's List!

The next day I discovered another small leak, called Scott and Michael was there and had it fixed by 1 pm.

I can't thank Scott and Michael enough for their responsiveness and professionalism. THAT'S how to run...and grow... a business!

"being a person in the profession, I was amazed at the quality of work given ......lets start at the beginning..i was calling around to find a good a/c company, so I called alpine air to my amazement they sold on their ability in dealing with strangers   the company them set up an in home apt  for me working around my  hours of availability. this gentleman  had his act together , knew his  business from start to finished and explained everything I did not understand so we set up an install date they sent two insatallers out and they was the top of the line. in just a few hours  it was installed .doing  the install process these two men were all about business and knew their jobs .never have I seen the ability as I had seen in these installers. after the  install they really cleaned up the area and  made sure that I was totally happy with my new A/C unit and the quality of work in which was  more than I expected.  personally I am over the top in complete satisfaction  with the job being well done  I would  highly suggest that alpine air is the ones to call if you want the job to be top rated and to my amazement they are well respected in the BBB with no complaints to warrant any thought from the public .being  hind sight  is 20/20 I look back and is overjoyed that I called  Alpine Air and on top of that they worked with me 100% to meet all my needs   as a customer I would use then in the future before I call any one else.........yes sire I,m a happy customer

"If I could give more stars I would!! Billy and his team are knowledgeable, fast, kind and affordable. They know what they are doing and truly care about the work that they do. We have an older home and have had quite a few plumbing issues in the past, but thanks to Appius plumbing I don't worry about ever having another plumbing issue again. "i have used Shane services for close to a decade now and have never been disappointed with him or his work. He Built my 2nd story back deck, cut out and framed an interior wall window, installed glass panels in my kitchen cabinents, cleaned and installed gutter guards on my rain gutters. he has also installed outdoor flood lights and 3 way electrical outdoor light switches and outdoor outlet. He has also installed ceiling fans and a chandelier in the foyer with a cathedral ceiling. Shane has installed a bathroom toilet and kitchen sink. in fact he stayed until 9:30 pm that night to finish the job right. he also stayed until 10pm one other night in the pouring rain on the roof fixing a leak. He always goes above and beyond what you would expect. "This is my second time hiring John to do renovations in my home. I had such a great initial experience that I had John remodel my bathroom. As was before, John is a pleasure to work with, great at communicating about timeline and his availability, and does great quality work. John removed and installed a new toilet, vanity, lighting, and retrofitted the existing pipes. He also repaired drywall as needed, re-mounted the toilet on a newly installed floor, and installed new baseboards and quarter round. His attention to detail really shows in his work. I couldn’t have asked for a better finished product. I’ll be reaching out to John for any future renovations."

"The entire trim had to be removed and replaced.  While this sounds simple the workers had to install a roof jack type scaffold due to the angle of the roof.   The trim was removed, replaced, sealed and painted.  The workers were very thorough and cleaned up as if they were never there.

"Great! The situation was very disheartening and stressful, Tom and his crew made it a whole lot easier to deal with by doing great work and offering good advice.

I had a master bedroom and bathroom addition put on my house 7 years ago. The carpenters who did it were very experienced and everything else is structurally sound and doing wonderful, except the bathroom. One serious mistake caused lots of damage. They didn't take the membrane of the shower pan completely over the lip. Instead, the membrane was covering only half of the top of the lip, and screwed in. Over 7 years, water dripped down through the screws, and wicked out from there. Eventually, it caused the joists and flooring underneath of the tile to rot. All of the original work was inspected and approved. Then to top it off, my homeowners insurance is refusing to pay. The situation that brought Tom and his crew to my house was nightmarish, but they took a horrible situation and made it better. I have to say that my new bathroom actually looks better, and is structurally sound, thanks to Tom and his crew.

Note to homeowners: hire Tom, who specializes in shower pan installation. All carpenters are NOT created equal in this specific area. Bathrooms take "lots of know how" due to all of the water, and possible water damage. Since kitchens and bathrooms sell houses and increase their value, take the time and money to hire a specialist.
