"I hired Daniel and trusted that he would do a good job based on a job of mobile skirting installation that he had previously done for me. He sent me a photo of what the window installations would look like. I had him do the front of the trailer first, paid him, and then he proceeded to complete the remainder and I paid him. I was out of state so I did not do a personal inspection of the job until I returned and the entire trailer was completed. When I saw it in person, it looks terrible. It looks nothing like the photo of what he had sent me. When I questioned it he said that it was because of an issue with the vinyl siding on my trailer. I later asked some other professionals if that is true and they said No, that is not true and that Daniel did not know what he was doing. They said that under no circumstances should a $10,000 window installation look like that. He offered to come and “fix” it but I do not want him doing anymore work. If he needs to fix it then it should have been done correctly before I paid him almost 10,000! I trusted Daniel because he seemed to be an honest businessman. He said that I was happy with the front windows on the trailer. I never said I was happy with them because I wasn’t in North Carolina to do a personal inspection of them. The reason I allowed him to proceed with the entire trailer was based on good faith and that I trusted that when he finished the entire job it would look wonderful like he promised. When I went to North Carolina and looked at it in it’s completion I was mortified! This entire job was done all wrong and instead of letting it go and taking a financial loss, I decided to do my research. Once I did my research and got confirmation from other professionals that this job should not look like this, regardless of the vinyl siding, I reached out to Daniel for a refund of $5000. All of the trim work will need to be redone to make this installation look aesthetically pleasing. Also, he did not inform me that the bathroom windows would not be able to be opened until after the installation was completed, so that also will have to be redone."
