"I contacted Refloor from an add i saw on Facebook. Reason being is I had recently gotten a new puppy and after a couple weeks of him being left out in the house while at work I came home to realize I had 2 layers of linoleum over the subfloor. He did a number on both layers. The crew from Refloor was great to work with, accommodating and top tier workmanship. Couldn't be happier with the end product, house looks new somehow even. Would highly recommend for anyone's flooring needs based off my experience. Definitely a happy customer here."

"I am a property manager and I have had the opportunity to hire Next Flooring several times. I have alway been impressed with the quality of work and pricing of the work. I hired Next Day to refinish the hardwood floors in my own home. You won’t go wrong with this company."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

Berber is a loop pile carpet known for its strength, durability, and distinct looped look. It can be made from a number of different carpet materials, including nylon and wool. However, Berber isn’t as soft as cut pile carpet, so it isn’t the best carpet for a bedroom (although it’s a good style of carpet for living rooms).

With that said, if you really like the look of Berber, you can still install it in your bedroom—it just might not be as comfortable on your feet as cut pile carpeting.

Outdoor kitchens get wet and are sometimes next to pools. To avoid accidents, go with a non-slip material like concrete, brick, or rubber. Avoid materials like ceramic and porcelain, as they are known to be quite slippery. Wood and composite flooring can be slippery if untreated, so make sure to stain or finish these materials.

There are a few carpet maintenance tips you’ll want to use to keep your carpet looking brand-new. Make sure you tackle stains immediately, and only use cleaners gentle enough for your carpet's specific fibers. You can even pop area rugs on top of wall-to-wall carpeting to change the look of your space and protect the carpet below.

The best underlayment for carpet on concrete is a sponge rubber underlayment. This type of carpet padding is durable enough to endure wear and tear on hard concrete yet soft enough to provide comfort underfoot. It also creates insulation from sound and temperature, providing warmth despite the concrete’s cold surface.

No subflooring is perfectly level, but you should never ignore any noticeable floor sagging. Most contractors deem a floor that slopes by a 1/2 inch to 1 inch per 20 feet of floor acceptable. Further investigation is required when the slope or sag is more than one and a half inches.
