I started Custom Finishes in 1991 after working for a large contractor and learning the trade of wallpaper installation. I have worked with designers from New York, Jacksonville, Atlanta, and Los Angeles as well as several locally. Do to my reputation for great customer service I was asked to install window treatments for a big box store. Over the years the number of store has grown. This lead to Graber approaching me to become a certified installer of their products.

Limitless Walls, a division of a current flexographic printer, founded in 1985 offers a number of unique design solutions to customers throughout the USA. Limitless Walls prints and sells affordable, custom, removable, repositionable wall murals and wallpaper. We have three different types of materials we use for our wall murals and wallpaper. These materials include paper, fabric and canvas. Each material has a different look and feel. Our wall murals and wallpaper are adhesive backed so no paste is required! This adhesive is specially made for walls so that it will not damage the walls or paint on the walls during instillation or removal. You can also remove and install the murals/wallpaper as many times as you need without damaging the adhesive or the walls. All of our products are made right here in the U.S.A. We recognize that traditional wallpaper is difficult to hang and remove. Here at Limitless Walls we strive to make decorating your walls easy and cost effective. Wall murals and wallpaper isn’t just great for the home; it could be a great way tool for marketing and branding at events and in your office. Limitless leverages high-quality equipment and innovative design solutions as well as a commitment to customer support through the most talented design and staff in the industry.

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

Walls should be as smooth as possible before applying peel-and-stick wallpaper. Although you technically can apply wallpaper on textured walls, the peel-and-stick variety won’t last long without a clean, smooth surface for the adhesive to stick to. If you have textured walls, consult a pro about removing the textured finish before moving forward with wallpaper.

While textured walls can elevate a space in many ways, there are a couple of downsides to consider. Namely, they’re hard to clean, and some textures fall out of fashion quickly. Make sure to consider all your options to find one you truly love before diving in.

While it is possible to paint over wallpaper, it’s not always ideal. If the wallpaper is firmly adhered, has no bubbling or peeling, and isn’t textured, you can try to prime and paint over it. Use an oil-based primer to prevent the adhesive from bleeding through. However, if the paper is damaged or loose, removal is the better long-term solution.

Wallpaper costs depend on several factors, such as the type, who's installing it, and how much you need. Usually, peel-and-stick wallpaper costs less than more permanent options. If you DIY, you can also expect your costs to be lower compared to working with a professional. The average cost to install wallpaper is $560, but total costs can range from $175 to $1,500.

When comparing peel-and-stick versus traditional wallpaper, peel-and-stick is more affordable and easier to DIY install. However, it doesn’t last as long as traditional wallpaper. Traditional wallpaper also holds up better in areas with moisture, such as kitchens and bathrooms.
