"Perfect! We were so impressed with the owner, Chris, from the very first time we spoke. I inquired on Angi’s List and he called within a few minutes. He promptly came out for a free quote . His pricing on repairing our deck was fair and the outcome was fabulous! We actually have an entire list of jobs now that we are going to hire Eden Landscaping and Handyman to do for us. We highly recommend them!"

"The two man crew arrived as scheduled: 0900. As a matter of fact, they were a little bit early on a Sunday morning! Let that sink in! SUNDAY MORNING! Nobody hung over from Saturday night or upset about being here! They got right to work, taking down the gutters from the back of the house so they could remove the rotted soffit, and then tag teamed my garage, removing all soffit. They then split up, one working on the backside of the house, the other working on the garage. It truly was poetry in motion. It was obvious, after watching them, that they knew what needed to be done, and how to get it done. Approximately seven hours later, they were done with the repairs contacted for! My wife and I did a final inspection and we're totally satisfied with the work done! Again, on a SUNDAY! We're already planning to have A Step Above Handyman Services do some additional work for us as well."

Pole Barn Builders questions, answered by experts

American badgers sleep in the burrows they dig, which can be extensive, featuring multiple chambers and tunnels. Badgers prefer to excavate their dens in open grasslands, prairies, and fields where the soil is easy to dig. They are solitary animals and usually have several burrows within their territory to use as needed. These underground homes provide them with a safe and secure place to rest during the day and to raise their young.

While a romantic getaway in a vacation treehouse may sound appealing, building one to live in year-round comes with more challenges. However, a growing number of people are adopting this small-scale living approach to appreciate an off-the-grid, private lifestyle. It allows you to feel closer to nature in a sustainable, customizable, minimalist, and eco-friendly way.

It’s much less expensive to build a house with wood. This is because wood is relatively inexpensive, strong enough to endure decades or even centuries of weathering and pressure, and is easier to replace if there are issues. The cost of stone houses are incredibly expensive, heavy, time-consuming to build, and difficult to repair.

The timeline to build your barn will depend on the barn type and the company you hire. A pole barn may take six weeks or so, while a traditionally framed or steel-framed barn can take four months or longer. Building a barndominium takes the longest because you are essentially building a new home. You can expect barndominiums to take six months or longer to build.

The lifespan of a barn is typically 40 to 60 years, but with skillful construction and proper maintenance, it can last up to 100 years. The actual lifespan depends on several factors, including the barn type, materials, usage, and climate. For example, the posts of a pole barn should last 50 years or longer, but if the structure is used for livestock in a rainy climate, it may rot within the first decade. Custom designs with high-end materials tend to last the longest. To get the best estimate for your barn's lifespan, you should consider its material type and intended use.
