to rise while their service seems to worsen. A few years ago they sent us a new modem, as the one we had was so old its technology was outdated. Immediately, our house phone (land line) stopped working. Comcast insisted that our line was working. I changed the batteries in the phone, installed a line filter, & eventually even bought a new phone, all to no avail. When I called & tried to discontinue the phone service, I was advised they couldn't do that. The only thing that solved the problem was that we moved. I checked Angie's List for plumbers, and found Atomic to be top-rated. I then checked them against the BBB, which gives them their highest rating...A+. I called and spoke to Beverly (wonderful person) who scheduled the work for today. (I had a six-hour window from the condo association, because they were doing some work with the pipes in other buildings, and would have the water shut down). I told Beverly the window was from 10 to 4. At 9:56 am, after Beverly called to confirm he was on the way, Robert was at my door. He had booties and a large tarp, to insure that my floors would be kept clean, and brought a complete set of tools and supplies to get the job done. He surveyed to situation, gave me some suggestions, which included also changing the valve to the water heater, which was badly corroded, and gave me what I considered a totally fair and reasonable price. Without my prompting, he also gave me a 10% discount for being an Angie's List subscriber. Just icing on the cake! He worked quickly, was very thorough, and when he was done cutting, brazing, soldering and gluing the pipes and newly installed cut-off units, waited to test all the work he did. He used the latest style lever-handled cutoffs, which were a marked improvement over the 24 year old units that came with the condo. While he was checking, he noted that my kitchen aerator wasn't working well, and even took that apart and cleaned it, without any prompting from us. That's a man who truly cares about doing the best for his client. He left the place spotless. He also gave me a gift plunger with the Atomic logo, as well as a magnet for the fridge, which I thought were nice touches. After I paid, and walked him downstairs, I was very impressed with the brightly-colored Atomic van, proudly displaying the Atomic logos and information. What an improvement over the \"nameless white vans\" that I sometimes see in the neighborhood! Looking inside, you could tell it was fully stocked from wall to wall with parts and equipment. This is definitely a first-class operation, and Robert's enthusiasm for the company was evident. Robert was a fine representative for Atomic. I'll be glad to employ them again for any and all of our future plumbing needs."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/va/virginia-beach/atomic-plumbing-and-drain-cleaning-corporation-reviews-273255.htm"},"position":4}]}

FAQs for land surveying projects in Jarvisburg, NC
Land surveying can help give clear guidance on your property boundaries for numerous situations. And in some cases, having your land surveyed is a requirement. Some common reasons to have your land surveyed include:
Planning for construction projects, like building a fence
Locating utilities, such as plumbing fixtures
Settling property line disputes
Creating subdivisions
Meeting mortgage requirements
Selling your property
Land surveying costs about $530 for the average homeowner. However, your total cost could range anywhere from $200 to $1,000 or more. Factors like the size of your property play a significant role in what you pay, but other things like the survey type and the time of year can also impact the final cost.
For example, if you’re looking for a simple boundary survey, you can expect to pay between $100 and $600. However, if you want a more in-depth survey that depicts the elevations of your hills and trees, you can expect to pay between $500 and $1,200 for a topographic survey.
A few different types of land surveys can help determine certain features and boundaries of your property. These include:
Boundary surveys describe the actual borders of a property. These are generally required when trying to get construction permits issued.
Location surveys provide much of the same information as a boundary survey but also include in-depth information about any improvements made to your property.
Mortgage location surveys are usually required by lenders and title companies before financing or offering an insurance policy.
Site-planning surveys are done before applying for building permits and can be issued before any major home improvements.
Topographic surveys provide a formal map of land elevations. It can also describe the location and size of natural features and any land improvements.
Land survey reports provide a lot of helpful information about your property and land. The exact information provided depends on the type of survey you have done, but common information that they can provide includes:
Location of utility fixtures
Clear boundaries and dimensions of your property
General topography
Land elevation information
Confirmation of easements or encroachments
Land surveys don’t technically expire. They do serve as a point of reference and a snapshot of your property, though, so as soon as you make changes to your property (and even if your neighbor makes certain changes to theirs), your existing land survey becomes inaccurate, and a new one must be done. Even if you don’t make any changes to your property, many states only guarantee the accuracy of a land survey for five to ten years.
