Whether a natural pool is worth it depends on several factors because they cost more than traditional pools. Many people opt for natural pools because they enjoy swimming in natural bodies of water such as lakes. Also, if you're environmentally conscious, a natural pool is going to be a much more attractive option than a traditional pool.

Building an inground pool is a job best left to the pros. Excavating the area and building the pool requires heavy equipment and specialized training, and pools have complex plumbing and electrical systems. Once you use a pH decreaser, you can expect the pH to adjust in two to four hours. If you use a strong chemical like muriatic acid, it could take as little as an hour. The only pools that don’t need grounding are those without electrical components, such as small inflatable pools. Any outlet around a pool should be a GFCI to cut the current if the outlet gets too wet. At the very least, the pool’s electrical should be plugged into a GFCI outlet, if not a dedicated GFCI breaker. Check local guidelines and requirements to ensure you’re following all safety regulations. 

You'll feel the most comfortable in pool water between 78 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit. Lower temperatures are a bit brisk, while higher temperatures can lead to algae and cloudy pool water. Choose a pool heater that either runs automatically when your water dips below 78 or switch it on several hours before using the pool for the day.
