The "front office" would let me know by either phone or email when the project would start, and then Tony and would give me updates. All and all the whole process went smoothly. I needed Joe and his son Tony on two occasions over the past two months.  Each time, I was met with friendly, on time service and very fair pricing.  Joe is very conscientious about doing a good job, and I like the chemistry he and his son have.  They work well together, fast and efficient.

Joe takes great pride in his work.  Of course, I'm in a rush to get things done, but after a particularly rainy weekend, Joe completed half my job one day and recommended that I wait two more days to let the bricks dry out as the humidity and moisture in the bricks were making the job look presentable but not right.  Joe wanted to do it right, which I respect.

"Regional did a good job installing a supplemental support beam in my crawlspace where the foundation had pulled away from the ground-floor joists. Of the three companies I contacted Regional proposed the right (IMO) solution at the best price, if only by a small margin. The problem area was a 1904 structure and Bill Shay, the Regional salesman, was very knowledgeable in those construction methods, especially thorough in his inspection, and he delivered a very prompt proposal with options. I had decided to use a competitor until I saw Bill's expertise and proposal. The installers (Leonard and Chris) were courteous and professional throughout, something I never manage after working in my own crawlspace. The Regional proposal included an engineering evaluation, which was disappointing to me. Those engineers are remote (in Seattle) and use a local field agent to collect data. Apparently, the engineers did not really understand the root problem or the 19th century construction methods (balloon framing and a stacked-stone foundation). They approved the Regional's recommended solution but made optional recommendations that were "off the mark" IMO. Still, t heir recommendations may have been fine for modern (post about 1950) structures. The work was completed yesterday but I'm a happy customer at this point."
