"The owner of this company, Hunter Sinclair, came to evaluate the problem we were having with our 23 year old gas fireplace. He was very neat by covering the area around the fireplace, worked efficiently to determine the problem and after careful work determined that a part needed to be replaced. Mr. Sinclair was as thorough as he could be considering it was an old gas fireplace! He let me know a week later that he was contacting all the distributors who may know the part number and after thoroughly working on trying to find the part, eventually found that the company, after contacting the company we purchased the fireplace from and made our fireplace had gone out of business 12 years earlier and no part could be found. Mr. Sinclair contacted me throughout his search keeping me apprised of his progress along the way. I was extremely impressed by Mr. Sinclair’s dedication to finding a solution to the problem and his consistent follow up on his progress. I highly recommend this company!"

So pleased with his work that we had him go do some repairs on my mother’s brick porch. He is also a good communicator and gives great customer service. Would definitely recommend and use again"

I don't know how BugOut expects to keep customers unless they are going for quantity to the point that it doesn't matter. Too much to even post here. "We had a new system put in the end of 2020. Gentry has always been prompt, knowledgeable, professional and great to work with. During this last storm our heater went out. I called on Sunday afternoon and I actually spoke to a person, who was very nice, and said someone would call me. Within minutes someone actually did and tried to help over phone. I had already tried what was suggested but he assured me we would see a service man the next day (Monday). Someone did call Monday morning and we did have a serviceman come out promptly. Albert was prompt, professional and immediately got to work. Our unit is underground and is difficult to get to but he went down there and worked until he got it working. It was a frozen line which he fixed and rerouted. He suggested a few things for another snow or freeze and left. The heater has been working since then. We would highly recommend Gentry Service in Swannanoa for new heating system or for service. We have been very satisfied from the beginning."

"Just used Rich and crew for a much needed tree trimming. They did an excellent job, stayed until it was finished and the backyard was cleaned up properly. Rich kept me in the loop as the work was performed. They did exactly what we agreed upon and paid exactly what we agreed upon. I will be using them for anything else moving forward. "I cancelled a job I put a deposit of $10,826.95 down for because the sale of my home fell through. I cancelled on June 13th and I still haven't received my refund as of 8/19. We have reached out on 3 separate occasions. My wife and I have been told different stories by different people as to what happened, but not much of it is adding up. After holding our deposit for over two months the manager said-- "We cannot do anything more to compensate you." Apparently, it is being overnighted this evening. Sadly, my advice is to proceed with caution. I give 2-stars because they apparently still have the money to refund me, it could have been worse I suppose."

"I ordered a Sunsetter awning from Smart Repair. They ordered the wrong size and installed it on my house. I have been trying to get the awning replaced for 2 months. I am getting the run around and now no one will return my calls. Then I found out that this “deal” was almost twice the going rate for a similar product!! DON’T USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE PATIENCE AND MONEY TO BURN!! Edit: This is part 2 of my previous review of Smart Repairs. All of my paperwork says I ordered an awning from Sunsetters. After trying to resolve my original issue with the awning being too short, I find out that my awning isn't a Sunsetter awning at all but from a different company that I never heard of or was told of!!! FRAUD!! I am still playing phone tag with the owner- he is always out of the office and won't return my calls. I was told from another worker that the offer to refund my money was rescinded since I wrote negative reviews about the company. So now they are strong arming me and doing consumer fraud!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!"
