Miguel and his staff were very professional and a well organized group. They worked so well with each other and with us as the building owner. Estimate of hurricane damage was well written including details for work needed. Definitely a 5+ star experience. We will definitely use them in the future for our building repair, remodel or construction needs.

The crew worked very hard. The women worked just as hard or harder than the men. Rueda did what they said they would. Just had a hard time finding the old style siding.

Laundry room and access ramp addition: The job was promised in 4-6 weeks. Took 16. Left with incomplete drywall finish and interior trim. Requests for add-on work cost estimates went unanswered until final bill presented. Final bill exceeded estimate by over $6500.00. Improper plumbing installation. Redo by licensed professional cost over $900.00. Left debris behind after final payment received. Framing and foundation work was adequate. Damage to existing structure will require additional work.

I used Rueda Construction (Miguel Rueda) to build a large deck on the front of my home with half of the deck covered with a roof. I was so pleased with the job I also used Miguel to re-roof my home with metal roofing. That job required removal of an old chimney as well as replacement of several pieces of damaged roof sheeting. I also used Miguel to do some remodeling inside my home. Miguel and his employees are excellent. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail is fantastic. They are all well-mannered and very professional. They paid particular attention to making sure my home was kept safe and clean during their work, and left it immaculate when the job was complete. I highly recommend Rueda Construction for any of your construction or remodeling needs. They are top notch!

We called this company for an estimate based on the positive reviews on angi.com. The company representative gave us a time on the phone that he would be out for an estimate, but then later in the same phone call he delayed that time by over an hour with no explanation. That in itself was unusual but not alarming, so we didn’t think much about it. When he and his assistant arrived at our home, they inspected the chimney for the work requested, and also looked around the roof. The representative took pictures that he showed us where he told us the roof was starting to deteriorate. We could not identify a problem on the roof from the photos, and it seemed clear to us that he was trying to convince us to get work done that we had not requested. It took a while to get him to promise us a quote for the work we had requested, but he finally did agree to send us something in writing. He called the next day and gave us an estimate over the phone. We again requested a quote in writing. The next day he sent us a written quote, which was $400 higher than what he had told us on the phone, with no explanation for the increase. At that point we agreed we needed to get a second opinion, because we did not feel comfortable with how this representative dealt with us. The second company we contacted gave us a quote that was 20% lower than Rueda Construction, and they did not try to convince us to get any other work done. We contracted the work with the second company.

The job was very difficult - Painting red brick on trim and floor and white on railing. They had to paint each rail white and then red between the rails.Miguel and his sons did a wonderful job. I highly recommend them and will use them when I need painting done.

I was more than pleased with Miguel. His professionalism and congenial nature always welcome and pleasant. He and his help worked often until sun went down and as laborious as his work is he ALWAYS cleaned up after himself. The workmanship this far has proven 1st rate, he will be THE ONE I will call whenever I have a project to be done!
