"I am so pleased. They were professional, timely, as neat as a tree removal could expect to be. One of the easiest transactions in homeowner history ? Their price was more than fair and we will call on them again when the time comes to remove the remaining trees."

"I checked over four companies for estimates to remove two trees from a property that my company manages. Choosing Burks Tree Service was the best choice I made. Ms. Dorthy was amazing with her follow-up system and was such a pleasure speaking with her. Her customer service was part of my decision to use this company. Mr. Burks showed up on time which is rare in my business. I was so "AMAZED" at the work that I watched the entire removal of the trees. When Mr. Burks finished the job, not only did he remove the stumps, he removed every branch, cleaned the debris from the lawn and street. The neighbors in the area were so thankful that the trees were gone and the way Mr. Burks leveled the front lawn. My landlord who is in the military, couldn't believe the pictures when he saw the results. Sometimes "THANK YOU" just isn't enough. That's why I took the time to write this review. Burks Tree Service has the best price, customer service, and work ethics. I have recommended Mr. Burks to all my real estate friends. Great Job Mr. Burks."

"There are not enough words to say how awesome Patrick and his men are to work with. Professional, courteous, prompt, honest are just a few words to describe this team. Great problem solvers and have a genuine concern for not destroying property. Clean up was above and beyond expectations. This is the second time we have used Kingdom Riderz and will definitely call upon them in the future. Look no further for your tree service as this one is top notch."

Small jobs welcome

"Came out the next day to give a quote. Quote was very reasonable (it was a large yard with multiple stumps) and we scheduled the work for the following Monday. Showed up on time and had the whole lot done in only a few hours. Even offered to come back and knock the stumps down more if necessary after I get the yard graded. 5 stars would recommend and use again."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

In Fayetteville, be wary of tree service providers who lack proof of insurance, avoid written estimates, or pressure you for immediate decisions. Reliable contractors will reference Fayetteville Parks & Recreation Department guidelines and provide local references. Watch for vague explanations about handling permits or debris removal. Always confirm that your chosen professional understands Fayetteville's tree removal permit process and can clearly outline their safety protocols.

Helpful?

In Fayetteville, unexpected costs during tree service can include permit application fees, utility coordination charges, and extra expenses for debris removal or stump grinding. If your property has limited access, you may need specialized equipment, which can add to the complexity. Always ask your contractor to clarify who handles permits and confirm requirements with the Fayetteville Parks & Recreation Department and the North Carolina Forest Service to avoid surprises.

Helpful?

For any tree service in Fayetteville, always use certified safety equipment such as helmets, harnesses, and protective eyewear. Stay clear of power lines and consult Fayetteville Planning & Code Enforcement Division if work is near utilities. Professionals follow OSHA safety standards and maintain first aid readiness. Before starting, verify that your contractor is familiar with local regulations and has experience with Fayetteville's common tree species.

Helpful?

DIY tree service in Fayetteville may seem cost-effective, but it poses safety risks and often violates local tree removal permit requirements if not handled properly. Hiring a licensed professional ensures compliance with Fayetteville Parks & Recreation Department regulations, proper insurance, and expertise in managing local tree species. Professionals also handle cleanup and can identify issues like disease, making them a safer and more reliable choice for most homeowners.

Helpful?

In Fayetteville, tree removal often requires a permit from the Fayetteville Parks & Recreation Department, especially for trees over a certain diameter or those designated as heritage trees under local ordinances. If you live in a historic district or subdivision, check with the Fayetteville Planning & Code Enforcement Division and your HOA for additional approval. Always consult both city ordinances and the North Carolina Forest Service for guidance before starting any tree service project.
