"After setting a start date Mr. Hargrove failed to show up and sent someone who we never met to pick up the installment pay. He was not knowledgeable about the job he was contracted to do. The railings were not installed correctly in fact it was a safety issue - if leaned on one could possibly knock it over. Called several times requesting him to repair, made false promises. To correct the problem we hired someone else to correct the job. "
"I called primarily because we had'nt used the insert in a few years and had gotten a wasp's nest in the chimney which was removed when we had the roof redone. I wanted to find out if a screen could be put on top to stop wasps from getting in. After being told they had had a 1 and 1/2 hour drive to get to me they could'nt do anything but put on a new cap for 400 to 500 dollars which would make it worth their while for the trip. They did'nt do a cleaning and were here for about 20 minutes. It was a special they were running for a cleaning and inspection. "
"The CHW Tech was unable to connect the air condition to the Nest thermostat because it was not registering but he was able to provide us with cool air until the previous HVAC company was able to come and fix the system the next day. I had to pay the CHW Tech for the entire service but was reimbursed by the original company that installed the furnace because they knew that this was their error."

"Andrew’s service went above and beyond. We were on a tight timeline to get our flooring installed, but I am a perfectionist. After our original agreed upon install date on a Monday, I decided I wanted to order a few more boards to tack an addition room onto the scope of work. That said we needed it done in time for renters to move in that Saturday, and the square footage involved was not going to be a large return on investment for him. Nevertheless, Andrew made room in his schedule to come back to our place Friday as soon as the boards arrived to ensure finish the additional room and ensure I was happy. I will definitely be going with Andrew for any future work."
"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
