"In this day and age it's refreshing to find a plumber with experience, customer service skills and excellent prices. A slowly leaking well water pump was installed in less than ninety minutes. Upon completion the job site was cleaned up and a thorough explanation of the features and controls was priovided. In closing keep this gentleman on speed dial, you won't be disappointed!"

Small jobs welcome

"I had a new driveway installed and let me just say that I would hire this company to any of my concrete needs. They are very professional and friendly people. Could not have asked for any better type of customer service then I received from Melody, Robert, Chris, Paul and the concrete guys. They are GREAT at what they do and they take pride in what they do. If I could, I would give them a thousand stars, that is just how GREAT this experience was. There are not many business' anymore that have this type of work ethic and pride in what this company does. Most would say that 'oh that can't be true,' let's just say for you to experience this kind of service, hire them to do a job for you and I am quite sure you will be impressed as well. It has been a VERY LONG time that you could actually hold a conversation with a contractor and actually discuss world events without someone being offended. These folks are the most polite people I have come across and if there was a way I could post a picture of what I hired them to do, you too would be AMAZED at how GREAT it turned out. Let me also say that if someone were to ask me if I knew of a concrete company in the area that I suggest, it would be Fast Lane Contracting a zillion times over. They tell you what they are going to do, and let me say 'they are a company of their word.' They wanted to make sure that what they had done was what I had asked of them and they did make my place look like it did prior to the new driveway going in and the end result blows me away as too how wonderful of a job they had done. I have already told people that I talk to if you need concrete done, they need to use this company and nobody else. I believe in what I write here and I believe what the consult with me prior to doing the job. Great job from the beginning with Melody and all the way through until the backfill was complete. A huge BZ (Bravo Zulu) to Robert, Chris, Paul and of course the concrete crew. Thank you for a job WELL DONE!!"

"i did not hire Tim's company in the end ---- he was going to seed my lawn I hired a company that would work with me for gardening and weeding and lawn service, edging, mowing when asked, and treating both front and back lawns with amendments in an ongoing manner. Working every Tues to bring my property up to standards. Carolina Green could not provide a follow-up lawn service (but they are great installers of seeded or sodded lawns, and very experienced. Quite busy also!"

"Tim is a good communicator, keeping me updated as per his time of arrival. He arrived on time, respected our home by placing protective coverings over his boots without being asked. Performed tests to replicate and confirm the problems I stated and snaked the upstairs drain through the shower to clear the obstruction. His pricing is on the higher side curve for these services although we were very satisfied with the service provided. I would recommend and refer Tim Campbell to others."

"They did the work and it was fine, but they didn't get the price right. It was really frustrating to get them to give us the correct price. I am sure my husband will call them to fix the furnace if we had another problem. They did the service in October when we had the last hurricane and they had to replace the furnace and the air-conditioner. They did some deck work with it as some of that had to be replaced. They had to build the furnace and air-conditioner up to elevate the flooding issues. They did the metal work under the furnace to elevate it. And outside for the air-conditioning unit they built a wooden platform to put it up. They did a good job when they did the work. The state was giving a rebate if you got your paper work in, but you should have it from the energy efficiency unit. So it had to be broken down by the price of the furnace, what the specifications of the furnace were, the price of air-conditioning unit and specifications to make sure it met their qualifications for the rebate. We went there 3 times before they could get it figured out, and it was just frustrating. It wasn't the quality of the work; it was the paper work that was a problem. It is hard to comment on punctuality because everybody needed the help at the same time, it wasn't in the normal circumstances. The rebate was available only till the money was gone, so we had to go in and get our paper work in electronically and once everybody put that in, it deducted the money from the pool, so it lasted from a Thursday till the Tuesday. After Tuesday if I didn't have my paper work in I wouldn't get any money. It was kind of important why the paper was needed. We have used them before, but it was just an issue of the paper work this time."

"I have used the services of John Adams/101 Building Services for my home and had great results.  Our church needed some exterior repair and I asked John to give us an estimate for the work.  After I received his estimate we met at the church and discussed exactly what needed to be done.
John not only did a quality job for each of the tasks on the list, he noticed some additional related items that needed work and, after checking with me, repaired those also.  For example, he powerwashed much more than the portico and steps that we contracted for.  While he had his gear hooked up, he also power washed the front walkway and back entryway.  He also repaired damage to two additional windows.
We have a small church with a limited budget.  John refused to accept any more in payment than what was initially agreed.  He said the additional work was his gift to the church.  Overall, we were extremely happy with the quality of John's work and appreciate his willingness to go the extra mile.

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

That pungent rotten egg smell coming from your drain is likely the buildup of biofilm—hair, skin, and soap scum that turns into a black sticky mess. In this case, pouring down near-boiling water, baking soda, and white vinegar will remove the smell. Keep in mind that a rotten egg smell is occasionally a sign of larger sewage line clogs and other related issues.

As a preventative measure, hydro jetting should be done every one to two years. However, the best practice is to hydro jet your sewer line once per year. The ideal frequency depends on several factors, including the age and condition of your pipes, how prone they are to clogging, how often the sewer line is used, and the type of waste disposed of in the system. If you frequently experience clogs or are unsure, it's best to ask a licensed plumber for a recommendation specific to your plumbing system.

The best way to unclog a bathtub drain is to pour a pot of boiled water down the drain, being careful not to splash yourself. However, take precautions, as boiling water can damage PVC pipes and joints. Follow up with ½ cup of baking soda and ½ cup of vinegar. Cover the drain with a small sink plunger and let it sit for 15 minutes. Pour boiling water down the drain again and replace the drain stopper.

To prevent drain clogs, perform regular maintenance and cleaning. Avoid disposing of substances like grease or coffee grounds down the sink. Additionally, installing and routinely using drain strainers can help catch debris and prevent blockages from forming.

Several signs can tip you off to a clogged dishwasher drain. At first, you may notice that it’s taking longer than usual for the dishwasher to drain, or you may hear gurgling sounds during the draining part of the cycle. You might also notice water backing up into your sink or excess food at the bottom of the dishwasher after a load. The most obvious sign, though, is seeing standing water at the bottom of your dishwasher after the cycle has finished.
