Chad came out the same day and did a very thorough analysis of the inside and exterior heat/AC unit. He changed the filters and all his recommendations to both me and with my husband on the phone as well about his concerns. We value his expertise and we are very impressed with this company. Glad we made the decision to switch to ARS.

After a arrival time frame of 10-2, They showed up at 5pm. There was no update on delayed time frame until 2:30.

Heat Pump Installation and Replacement
I was told that they would install on Monday then it changed to Tuesday , they showed up Tuesday and started install , damaged my wall when the had to cut the hole bigger for air handler, the tech couldnĆ¢ t cut a straight line , never framed up the opening just put the air handler in , damaged my wall while installing the thermostat . Never finished the install Tuesday , because a faulty breaker and only have one electrical for the company and he couldnĆ¢ t come back . Gave me two window untits for the night , showed up Wednesday to finish never did a systems check and forgot to turn on out side breaker , so a tech had to come back that evening , sent sever ppl out threw out the week to try and fix damage . Never fixed properly. Spoke to every manager in the company , no one talks to each other . Just a loosy experience and would not do it again . Oh and first quote was 11k then 85 and then 7k . How do u have 4k markup . How many ppl do they screw over . Yes I have a new unit but quality and management . NO GOOD

I have two units installed and serviced by ARS. The Rheem unit installed in June 2022 had a Rh wire fault on the ARS installed Nest Thermostat. The ARS service tech found that the drain pan water level switch was sending this code, intermittently shutting the system down due to a clogged drain line. ARS wanted OVER $325 to simply suck the drain line clean! Outrageous! We have been doing business with ARS~Wilmington for 13 years! They have received over $15K from us over the years. SHAME ON ARS for charging such a rediculous fee to clean less than 10 and drain line on a system that is 13 months old. Time to find a new HVAC service company.

We had several people come out and look at the a/c unit. They gave us their honest opinions and suggestions but in no way made us feel like we HAD to do what they suggested. Everyone was so friendly very efficient and effective and we are so happy with them! We will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a/c unit checked or replaced!

I had ARS come out today because my TRANE unit was not cooling properly. Technician said I needed refrigerant called 410a which is about $80 maximum per pound installed. ARS wanted $1348 for this plus $200 to find a leak and $3500 in repairs thereafter if necessary. my unit is 5 years old so I know it didnt use the old refrigerant that is now very expensive. so this technician tried to rip off a senior citizen about $1000 plus dollars. I will continue to let everyone know just how unprofessional and unethical they really are. YĆ¢ all should be ashamed of yoursel!

On the pricier side, but the tech they sent out to look at the A/C diagnosed the problem in about 10 minutes and was up front about their price to make the necessary repairs. While I did not have them perform the repair itself the service call was worth it for the quick and accurate diagnosis.
