"Excellent! Addressed my issues :-) I had numerous cracked walls, doors not closing, and a hollow sound when walking around the house - numerous problems in the crawlspace and foundation. Justin T, Joel S and Travis M came in from Dry Pro - clearly described what and how they were going to tackle the problems, confirmed with me my concerns, and then they knocked it out of the park. Oddly....I feel 20lbs lighter walking around because I no longer hear the thuds, crackles and creeks echoing when I walk across the room - and its great we can now close the bedroom doors. My experience is the same as several neighbors who had similar issues - very pleased with the results."

"The All Glass team did an amazing job on our shower installation. The technician was transparent about the lead time and the girls in the office were friendly from start to finish. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family and hope to use them again in the future for full window replacements."

"Great honest contractors. They did my bathrooms, hot water heater, unclogged my house drain and they did a French drain so my basement is not wet anymore. I already hired them to do my whole roof in the spring. I will hire them anytime."

Window Door Contractors questions, answered by experts

Egress windows require regular maintenance to ensure they function correctly. This includes cleaning the glass, inspecting the frame and well for debris, and making sure the cover or well drains properly. It is also important to check that the window sills and wells are watertight and to inspect and repair any damage to the window frame or seals to prevent leaks and maintain functionality.

There are different types of screen materials available when purchasing a screen door, but the two main options are fiberglass and aluminum. Fiberglass is lightweight and affordable, but can stretch out, so it needs to be replaced more often. Aluminum has a higher upfront cost, but is more sturdy. Aluminum can be more difficult to install, even if you know how to replace screen door mesh.

There are a number of ways to secure windows. You can add motion detectors or window sensors to detect movement and impact or change the window locks to make them stronger. Some of the ways you can secure windows are much like how you secure a home: closing the curtains at night and setting up security cameras outside so you can monitor your property even in your absence.

The most affordable way to screen in a porch is to add a base track system to an existing wooden frame. The whole process should cost around $2,000 for supplies, depending on the size of your porch. It’s much pricier to build a screened-in porch or sunroom from scratch—and you’ll probably need to hire a contractor for a project like that.

The steps to replace a retractable screen can vary, but these are the general steps: First, remove the screen cover to expose the screen mechanism and remove the clip that holds the screen in place. Next, depress the end of the screen mechanism so it releases from the door frame. Take your new screen and fit one end into the frame. You may need to rotate the mechanism to engage the spring before inserting the other end into the frame. Finally, pull the screen down the length of the door’s opening and lock it in place with the clip.
