We specialize in all aspects of solid surface repair including crack repairs, scratch removal, sink replacement, countertop alterations, fabrication and installation mistakes such as ugly seams, uneven overhangs, incorrect edge profiles, tops that were broken during installation and more. We are specialists in retro fit sink replacements. We also do a lot of re purposing of existing solid surface countertops. Corian, Formica Solid Surfacing, Wilsonart Gibraltar and Livingstone Solid Surface, Avonite, Hi macs and more. We do not repair concrete, laminate, tile, cultured marble or stainless steel countertops. Our minimum job charge is $400.00. Marble and Granite questions, answered by experts

Cultured stone is typically easier to cut compared to natural stone. Because it’s lightweight and porous, cutting cultured stone doesn't take as much effort. The process of cutting cultured and natural stone is the same; however, you may spend more time cutting through natural stone.

Yes, you can tile a shower as a DIY project, and you can save hundreds of dollars in labor costs by doing so. However, you’ll need to rent or buy quite a few tools and supplies for the job, including a saw, tile nippers, and a new shower pan. In terms of the work itself, you should be prepared to tackle a variety of different tasks, including measuring and ordering materials, removing old tile, waterproofing the wall, adding rows of tile, grouting, and more.

Quartz is more durable than granite, so it should last longer. However, it does have one weakness: It can be damaged by extreme heat, so exercise caution with cooking pans. Granite is durable, but it’s also porous, which invites stains when liquids are left sitting on a countertop. With this in mind, clean up spills promptly and reseal the countertops every year. Beyond that, granite can be damaged by a high-impact blow.

The best types of tiles for a shower are ceramic and porcelain tiles. These materials are durable, water-resistant, and easy to maintain, making them ideal for wet environments. Porcelain tiles are slightly more durable than ceramic. Both options come in a wide variety of styles, so you can achieve the perfect look for your bathroom.

Yes, you can tile over tile. However, the original tiling job must be clean, flat, and free of damage, such as mold or mildew. Removing existing tiles is time-consuming and expensive, so it might make sense to skip this step.

Remember that when you tile over an existing layer, your walls or floor will get that much taller, so it might not work, depending on your door height.
