"I have used Axtraction for 2 projects within the last month and been very pleased both times. The first time was for removing 2 trees in my backyard - they did such a great job that I decided to have them come back and clear out some more trees and shrubs. They were courteous, hardworking and exceeded expectations. I received a quote promptly each time after they came out to check out the scope of the job. The team is knowledgeable and aim to please. Will definitely recommend them."

"Sam and his team did an absolute phenomenal job on our recent property project. We hired them for land clearing, grading, and forestry mulching, and the results exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, Sam and his crew went above and beyond to ensure everything was done perfectly. Their forestry mulching left the property looking clean and usable, and the grading work was top-notch. They are professional, efficient, and clearly take great pride in their work. If you need any land management or clearing done right, look no further than Timberclaw. We couldn't be happier with the outcome!"

"Someone came out the first day I requested a quote and started the work within 2 weeks as promised. The work took a bit longer than expected due to weather conditions, but understandable. The work was done as discussed and at a reasonable rate for the amount of time it took. Our drainage and water issues required a lot of manual labor to install a French drain, reroute a rock creek and reroute gutter drainage. The customer service was excellent and the team very responsive. Would highly recommend this company."

"We hired Charlotte Stump & Land to remove an old, overgrown landscape bed that had gotten completely out of control, and they did an awesome job. Mike was very responsive when I first left a voicemail. They removed all the bushes, plants, old edging, and cleaned everything up so we could start fresh. They showed up on time, worked hard, and treated our property like it was their own. I was honestly surprised by how clean everything looked when they finished. There wasn’t a pile of debris left behind or a mess to deal with. I have found it’s been hard to find contractors who actually communicate well and do exactly what they promise, but these guys did. Their pricing was fair, work was above and beyond, and they were super easy to talk to, schedule with, and ensured my yard looked exactly as I wanted. I’d definitely recommend Charlotte Stump & Land and will be using them again for future landscaping projects."

"Needed fencing installed to keep groundhogs from taking up residence under our deck. Brady came up with a creative and complete solution that made sure the varmints were out and would not return. Would use again."

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

In Concord, homeowners often overlook checking for neighborhood-specific property line requirements or fail to clarify the full scope of the survey. Relying on outdated surveys, ignoring potential encroachment issues from neighboring properties, or disturbing survey markers during landscaping are frequent missteps. Not verifying the surveyor’s experience with Concord’s varied lot sizes and terrain can also lead to incomplete or inaccurate results.

Helpful?

When planning a land surveying project in Concord, consider local permit requirements, especially in neighborhoods with unique covenants or near historic sites. The city’s mix of rocky soil, creeks, and changing elevations can affect survey complexity. Seasonal weather, like heavy summer rain or winter frost, may impact fieldwork. Also, be mindful of utility easements and expanding infrastructure that could influence your property boundaries.

Helpful?

When comparing land surveying quotes in Concord, be wary of surveyors who avoid providing written contracts or clear timelines, lack professional liability insurance, or hesitate to share local references. Watch for vague descriptions of property boundaries or survey markers in their proposals. If a surveyor seems unfamiliar with Concord’s typical lot layouts or neighborhood encroachment issues, that’s a sign to proceed with caution.

Helpful?

In Concord, maintaining your land survey means protecting survey markers from being moved or damaged by landscaping or construction. Keep your survey documents and digital copies accessible for future reference. After significant property changes or if you notice encroachment along property lines, consider updating your survey. Regularly inspect wooded or sloped areas, as shifting soil or vegetation can obscure property boundaries.

Helpful?

Completing a land surveying project in Concord can enhance your home’s value and resale appeal by clearly defining property boundaries and reducing the risk of boundary disputes. Accurate survey documentation is especially attractive to buyers in Concord’s competitive market, as it streamlines transactions and supports additions like fences or patios. Up-to-date surveys also reassure lenders and insurers, making your property more marketable.
