"Dylan reached out within a day to setup time to review the work and work up a quote. The work was done a couple of days later. His team trimmed up a bunch of shrubs, weeded the beds and then put in new mulch. There was a little extra mulch leftover, so he put it around my mailbox and cleaned up around it, which was not part of the original request, but was greatly appreciated. Would definitely work with Dylan again."

"Will was amazing. Very organized and very neat. The furniture assembly is definitely something I could NOT have done as expertly as he did. He unpacked the dresser and disposed of all the packing materials. He also hung some artwork and mirrors at a last minute request and adjusted drawers on two nightstands. Very professional, friendly and we will happily request services again."

Mailbox Repair questions, answered by experts

Learning how to fix water-damaged or swollen wood is possible, but it won’t always work if there is significant warping or structural damage that was caused by the water. Cosmetic issues such as nicks, bubbling and peeling can often be fixed by using an iron, sanding, or using wood filler.

Yes, you can save moldy wood furniture by removing the mold as soon as you notice it. Mold can penetrate and damage porous wood, though, so waiting to clean it could lead to significant damage. If a large coverage area of mold grows over several months, you may want to ask a professional to try to save the piece. If the damage is bad enough, though, even a pro might not be able to save it.

When water penetrates wood, the wood swells, causing the wood and veneer to separate. This separation creates bubbles on the surface of your furniture. If water spills on wood veneer, it needs to be dried ASAP. Surface spills can cause minor damages like white spots and blushing, but if you’re slow to action, you’re looking at more work—and spending—to restore your wood veneer.

It’s possible to make minor repairs yourself on leather furniture, including using patch kits and leather repair kits. For minor leather scratches that haven’t breached the surface, repair kits can work wonders. However, we strongly recommend leaving any extensive leather repair to professionals, including deep scratches, tears, peeling, and reupholstering. These repairs demand experience to get the final product to look professional, and inexperienced DIYers may cause additional damage to the furniture that demands further repairs.

A drawer falling out of place usually indicates there’s too much in it, so the best place to start is by emptying it of any non-essential items to check whether it was simply a weight issue. If that’s not the case, check whether the front panel or hardware is damaged, and replace parts as necessary. You may need to replace the drawer or the drawer slides if the issue persists.
