"My basement has been flooding. They cut through the concrete laid a drain that emptied into a sump pump and covered it back up with concrete. They got it all done in less than a day. I was amazed."

"Superior Concrete was a great company to work with. Kahlman and his crew were very professional and accommodating. I would definitely recommend them for any concrete project that you are looking to have done."
"Mark arrived and viewed our problem. He gave us sound advice about how to fix our water intrusion problem. Unfortunately, his company does not provide the service we need (pouring concrete). His advice was sound and made so much sense to us. We had met with another company who recommended a variety of measures which were all extremely costly. Mark was honest and credible. The Moisture Loc company must have great ethics to offer advice that will take their business to a different company. We will definitely keep this company in our rolodex! "
We called them and asked them to build a custom deck. He came out and started our deck immediately and added benches and different levels. He took our design and added to it and made our dream deck better that we could have imagined.
The price was better than we thought it would be.
It was a great experience and we highly recommend them if your looking for a great design and great prices.
"What made this job unique was that we purchased the house end of May as part of a relocation from Texas, and were not actually moving in until July 21. All the renovation and remodeling had to be done without our direct supervision and only limited visits to the area. Trust in the contractor was critical because of this, but we didn't know any contractors in this area so we had to rely solely on the Angie's list recommendations. America's Choice came through with flying colors. Chuck was forthright and honest - almost to a fault. His crew perormed quality work - doing things like laying cement board underlayment for the kitchen floor with 6" screws that are now covered with ceramic tile. A cheaper, lower quality method could have been used and we would have never known it; but this level of quality means a floor that is going to last the life of the house without problem. Even the little things were done with an eye to craftsmanship and artisanship: multiple coats of spackle to cover drywall nail holes and seams so that now the painted walls are flawless. Mitered corner joints that show no gaps or mis-joints. Cabinet doors (over forty in the kitchen alone) that are perfectly aligned and open/close whisper-quiet. Every appliance working right to specs. After work every day, the work area was cleaned up and all trash hauled away. The job was completed on-time, on-budget, and absolutely right. Our end-of-project punchlist contained only 6 items that needed to be finished up (and 3 of these were last-minute details that could not be foreseen during the project). Even things that were "wrong" with the house that America's Choice had nothing to do with were fixed and made right. Bottom line: we are absolutely thrilled with the results, and have a house that our new neighrbors (without exception) have commented very favorably on. We heartily recommend America's Choice to anyone considering having work done on thier house - you will be dealing with guys of integrity, craftsmanship, and a high work ethic."

On average, a mudjacking repair lasts between five and 10 years, though it can sometimes last for well beyond a decade under ideal conditions. Its longevity depends heavily on several factors, including the condition of the underlying soil, environmental conditions like freeze/thaw cycles and erosion, and whether the root cause of the sinking, such as drainage issues, is resolved. Because it doesn't always fix the underlying problem of loose soil, mudjacking is often considered a temporary solution. Proper maintenance and evaluation can help extend its lifespan.
Trenching and boring are two distinct methods for installing underground utilities. Trenching involves digging a channel using equipment like an excavator, trencher, backhoe, or shovel. While it is a simpler process, it causes significant disruption to the surface, landscaping, and surrounding ecosystems.
Boring, also known as directional boring, is a less invasive alternative that uses a drill to create a tunnel for utility lines without disturbing the surface. This method is more precise and is ideal for installations that need to go underneath buildings, roads, or bodies of water. Although boring is less disruptive, it is generally more expensive than trenching.
Yes, expanding foam (also known as polyurethane foam) can lift concrete. This approach, called polyjacking, involves injecting the foam rather than concrete slurry to fill voids and raise the concrete slab back into place. It’s often faster and requires smaller drill holes than traditional mudjacking, though it may come at a higher cost. Some contractors also prefer polyjacking over mudjacking for more damaged and delicate slabs.
The timeframe is generally a few hours, allowing for immediate use post-hydration, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding activities.
