"Cancelled all services with Blanton as well as this well pitched Wow Service Plan. Was given a good pitch about services provided. However, after scheduling twice for services provided by service plan, only to have them cancelled and told need to reschedule. Today is was need to reschedule because they are anticipating (four days from now) a high volume of emergency calls due to cold weather and freezing temperatures. What cold weather? 52 and 43 at night are not freezing temps; 69 and 67 daytime are not freezing temps. So you reschedule appointments four days in advance with no actual justification or confirmation the day of of what you think might happen? Sounds more like laziness or a reason not to fulfill appointments made almost two weeks prior. Second, why have an online system that allows you to book an appointment and date but when you call to complete the appointment process, tell us that the dates that show on the calendar as “available” don’t actually mean they are available? The lady I spoke to said they are run by two different departments. Sounds like you need to update your systems and booking process that actually shows dates of availability so customers don’t waste time picking a date that isn’t actually available and waste time. Or get rid of calendar option altogether so you cannot select a date that isn’t in “real” time."

"The absolute worst !!! My mother has cancer and this man took 800 plus for a service not done !!! We reached out to him the first time and told him something was not right and he bs about coming back ! He then finally came back after begging my mom to delete her review first talking about protecting his name and ?.. here we are again with the same thing! Not fixed ! Last time he came he left our house a mess !!!!!!!! Dirt ? everywhere! The town of Warsaw asked did he go under the house and neither time did! He used an electric snake for a temporary fix !!!!!! How dare you take that kind of money from my mom for a half done job !!!!!! "

"I have had several experiences with Blanton.’s over the past few years. I have been very pleased with their employees, teams, and, particularly, their overall business practices. Having had 2 basement floods in the past few years caused by hairpin holes in the pipes. They did a great job repairing/replacing all of my pipes, some electrical work, and HVAC, all in a timely and safe manner. The technicians would give descriptions and probable time/costs their tasks would require. They were polite! Only late yesterday afternoon, I called them to tell of a leak under my kitchen sink. The technicians were here at 8:30 am this morning, repaired the leak, AND advised me there was no charge. How many firms would do that!!! "

"I hired this company to pump and clean my septic tank. Per the signed agreement, any digging beyond 30 minutes would result in extra charges. They completed the digging in under 30 minutes. I have indisputable, timestamped video evidence of this. Yet they still added a $175 charge claiming ?excessive digging time.? I gave them every opportunity to correct the error. I shared the contract, the footage, and a detailed timeline. They refused to adjust the invoice, ignoring all the facts. That tells me everything I need to know about how they conduct business. If this is how they handle documented and respectful customer disputes by padding charges and refusing accountability, what else might they be inflating? If you value transparency, integrity, and fair billing, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. Companies that abuse customer trust should not be allowed to operate without consequence. "

"My young first time homeowner daughter called the ARS location in Knightdale, NC on 06/24/2025 to fix an inoperable AC unit. Tech came out and said the compressor fan motor and capacitor was "locked up" and needed to be replaced at a cost of $2600. He also said it would be a couple of days to get parts. It was 90 degrees in the house and 94 upstairs. He then sent his salesman to discuss a complete replacement on a 13 year old system. He left knowing her fiance worked from home and the home was very HOT. He charged $116 for the service call and left. I came over while the salesman was there discussing estimates. I walked outside and turned the fan by hand and it started running. The fan motor was NOT locked up. I ran up to the parts house and bought a $17 capacitor and replaced it. It's been running ever since. It took me basically an hour to drive in traffic, pick up part and replace it. During this whole time the salesman finished his pitch and sat in his car on the street for over an hour. Nice work ethic right? I called the company to try and talk to a manager about my experience and I got a call center that said somebody will call me. You can not call the company and talk to a manager. I called the HQ and still nothing. I really don't think there is a quality control manager as they say there is. No callback as of yet. They tried to take advantage of my young daughter just to make a sale for a complete replacement which was not needed and left her in the heat. They don't care about their customers and just push the upsale of a complete replacement. I fixed this system for $17 when they wanted minimum $2600 and days to fix in a major heat wave. I called another company and they said they would do this same repair if needed for $350. I feel the least they can do is refund my daughters $116 for the "lack of service call." Never again!!!! Read the reviews on Yelp and Google. Not the 4.5 rating on their website. They are CROOKS!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES........"
